Transformation: All bake-neko including the Kahsa are traditionally normal cats who grew more powerful with age until becoming a supernatural creature. You can often tell which cat can become a bake-neko through its long tail.
Physical appearance: The kashas are large cats about the size of a human when standing on their hind legs. Often they have flames on parts of their body. Usually shown on the ears, whiskers, and tails. Although this fire can sprout anywhere. When not using their abilities they take the form of house cats (Although still being quite large)
Abilities: As with most Bake-Neko the Kasha has a minor ability over the fire that sprouts on them. Unlike most Bake-Neko the Kasha’s abilities stem from corpses. Usually human corpses, they have the ability to puppeteer them if they want and are often known for stealing corpses from funerals. Often bake-neko’s are depicted as being able to talk to humans.
Movement: Kasha can move as a regular cat or a bipedal.
Human interaction: Kasha’s aren’t inherently violent towards living humans, but they will go out of their way to steal corpses. It’s said they may eat the corpses, drag them to hell, or simply puppeteer them to play tricks on people.
Behavior: Most of their behavior is centered around humans. Any other behavior is assumed to be cat-like although with more of the intelligence of a human.
Fun fact: Kasha means “Fire Cart” which is confusing as they have nothing to do with carts.
