Chauncey Pheasant is as average as it is possible to be. He works as a janitor in his town, St. Denchurch, and has been ignored and overlooked his whole life. All of that changes when a mysterious man from space crash-lands on Earth, and whisks Chauncey away on the adventure of a lifetime. At first, it's only fun, but as the past unfolds and dangerous villains start acting up, Chauncey must discover how he is so much more than normal.
