“That’s perfect! They look like they’re going to be a great team.” Melanie said as she handed some paperwork to Sage’s mom. “The price is what we talked about earlier. Here’s her papers and a bill of sale to sign. Do you have any other horses and ponies on your farm? She’ll need a friend.”

“We don’t have any other horses yet.” Sage’s mom replied.

“I have a driving pair of Shetland pony mares and a mini mare looking for homes. If you’re interested, I can throw in the harnesses and a single and a double cart for them as well.” Melanie offered.

“Mom, let’s do it!” Sage said as she finished cooling down Akko.
