He grabbed his backpack filled with his high tech equipment as we walked toward the building.

"Okay C set up, and help me find a good lead. I'll put on the glasses now." I said putting on high tech glasses and the headset leaving the building.

I see everything able to analysis whatever I looked at.

"Okay J you ready?" I hear in my ear.

I touch the ear piece. "I'm always ready."

"Oh coarse you are. Be careful these guys are dangerous."

"I know."

"And make sure no one sees them. Anyone who sees these shadow demons or the black guild MUST be brain washed."

I sighed.

"I know, I know."

"I know you don't like brainwashing people but you ha-" he was cut off my a loud scream from the distance.

I perked up looking at the direction of the scream and grab my gun tight..

"J go!" I hear in my ear.

I ran to the scream as it never died down. When I get to the location I see a raven haired girl and a dark haired guy being cornered in front of the movie theater.

He was shielding her from the black creature."

"C is that a shadow demon?"

"Scanning now." he said as I could see the glasses scanning the monster.

"Yes. It consumes souls of people that show fear and sadness. It says it feeds on fear and can easily go inside a new host."

"Okay. What's it's weakness?"

"It says the weakness is silver."

I grinned holding up my gun aiming down the scope.

"Good thing I have my silver made bullets in."

"You always come prepared." he said in my ear.

I cocked the gun aiming down the down my sight.

I see the creature get closer to them both.

I hear her scream in fear.

She will be the target for this creature that's for sure.

"Stan!!! It's getting closer." she yelled hiding behind him.

I pulled the trigger hearing the click but it didn't shoot. My heart jolted when I pulled the magazine out seeing NO bullets. I grit my teeth.

I swear I loaded to the max.. How are they all missing?

"Jess act now or those people will die!" he yelled in my ear.

I growled grabbing my knife from my pocket. I thankfully had a enough silver to kill this thing...

I sprint as fast as I could toward their direction.

I see the guy spread his arms out creating a wall to protect her.

"Run Wendy!!!" he yelled.

"No, not without you!" she cried out.

I hear the creature laugh in a deep sinister tone as it held its claws up.

The guy close his eyes gritting his teeth in fear.

I make it behind the creature and slide on my feet stepping in front of the guy. The monster slashed at my blade. It's claws went clean through cutting his hand in half. It spat a hellish scream as I spun in a complete circle getting the extra momentum aiming my knife at its neck. It grew silent as its head fell on the ground. At that moment the body liquidized fading away getting absorbed in the ground. I breathed out looking at my knife seeing black goop. I look in disgust wiping the blade on my arm.

"W-Wait.. We aren't,dead?" I hear the guy say behind me. I sighed putting my knife away with one hand. With the other hand I grabbed my brainwashing device. I turned around clicking on my glasses putting a mode on where I wouldn't get effected by the flash.

"Yes, yes you two are alive. Can you two do me a big favor and focus right here please?" I asked holding the device up. They looked into it with confusion plastered on their faces. I pressed the button seeing the flash from the light.

"Okay, so what happened here was you two were just going to the movies on a date. Clearly you have a strong connection with one another. Hope you two have a great date." I said putting the device away. I clicked my glasses setting the mode off as I could see clearly again.

What I didn't know was someone else was watching me from a far.
