"Cody hide, I'll be there in a second!!!!" I stopped in midstep. I looked back at her watching her run off quickly.

Wait, Cody? Is that the guy in her headset? Should I follow?.... Wait, why would I want to?... What if there's a way I could help?

I sighed.

Damn it... Why do I have to have the hots for a fucking agent chick?

I followed in the direction that she ran trying not to be noticed.

Jess's pov

As I approached the building, I didn't slow down for a second as I rammed my body against the front door.

I hear a sharp squeal and heavy footsteps sprinting right toward me. I hold my gun up and scan the room to identify the threat.

God damn it, it's a fucking 'clicker'. Stupid blink pieces of shit.

I shot it's face, it's head nearby blows up due to impact.

I hear the click from another one down the hallway.

I walked around scanning the area on analysis mode on my glasses as it was in the room that C was set up in.

I kicked the shell casing from the bullet now lodged in the skull of the dead one. I hear the creature squeal and throw itself at the noise toward the shell looking around spastically.

I hold up my gun aiming at for another quick kill. When I pulled the trigger nothing came..

My eyes shot open as I see it look toward me and hiss.

"Shit!!!" I said dropping the gun.

It ran full speed right at me on all four. I quickly grab my blade but it was already on top of me before I could counter the attack.

"Fuck!" I screamed out holding my blade at its throat. I tried ripping at my stomach causing my knife to fly behind me.

I held my arm out stopping it from biting me. It was far heavier than I hoped as my arm was giving out. I grabbed it's shoulder with my other hand pushing as hard as I could.

I yelled out knowing I was going to lose my strength fairly soon.

"Cody!!!! Cody!!! Please..... Help me.. Please?!" I desperately screamed out.

I hear nothing but the creature's teeth snapping at me.

I began to crying in fear for my life.

"Shit... I'm going to fucking die.." I said closing my eyes while grinding my teeth feeling my body slowly giving up.

I'm going to die.
