"We are in Paris!!" She shouted full of glee.

I look at her and smile really big.

"Yeah, I thought you'd like it. You know just the two of us."

She looked over at me still holding my hand.

"Kyle... can we go up to the top?" she asked pointing at the Eiffel Tower that wasn't too far ahead.

"Yeah, the sun is setting fast so it'll be dark here soon. Now would be the best time."

"That's okay, lets go." She said tugging on my hand forcing me to run.

Seeing her this excited was a side of her I enjoyed being around. She's so cute like this.

She slowed down looking up in the Eiffel Tower as we were directly below it.

"Oh my god... Kyle... This is amazing!!" she said with excitement.

"Can we go to the top?"

"Yeah, do you want to teleport?"

She looked over at me with a smug grin. "You know me so well."

I looked around and see no one looking.

I set the location and shot at the ground. We jump through and we end up at the top. Both of our jaws dropped being on the balcony. The view was absolutely stunning, I didn't even care that we were still holding hand. I did feel weird not wearing my gloves but I didn't care. At least not with her around.

"Kyle... This is the sweetest thing anyone could ever do for me."

"Wait.. You had access to this gun and Cody never did this for you?"

"No... We were more... Serious type then... The kind that would have fun and explore and not have work involved. It was always work, work, work with him.... Never anything fun and exciting. But... now I understand why..."

"Jess?"

She looked at me with sad eyes.

"Can you tell me something? How did you being around him compared to how you feel around me? What I'm doing right now for example?"

I see her face get red as she looked away.

"I.... I don't know... I just... Still can't believe he... Used me and I didn't even know...."

"Are you afraid that's what I'm doing?" I asked feeling sightly afraid for the answer.

She spiked her head looking up at me scared.

"No, it's not that. It's just.... He would never do anything like this... It's what I always wanted to do, especially Paris. But... I.... I can't get what he said out of my head. How could anyone ever love me...? The one guy I trusted.... My best friend.... He was lying to me.. using me and...." she chocked up into tears. She looked down clenching the balcony railing. I could see her tears hitting the back of her hands while they were shaking.

"Jess..."

All I could hear were her soft sobs.

Now is the best time to confess...

"Jess... You have to believe me when I say you are the most beautiful woman I ever laid eyes on... You are so funny, smart, and your personality is so amazing. Do not let that prick get in your head. He might of said no one would ever love you?"

I walked up to her close while placing my hand on her cheek wiping a tear away. She looked up at me shocked.

"Kyle?"

I brushed her hair away from her eyes.

"How could I not fall in love with you when I already did?"

Before she could react. I leaned in and kissed her softly. I see her close her eyes kissing back without hesitation. My hands went to her waist as she wrapped her arms around the back of my neck pressing her body against mine. I smiled in the kiss as did she. When we pulled away we both looked at eachother placing our foreheads together.

"I love you too Kyle." I hear her softly breath out.

I smiled really big feeling overjoyed.

"Jess... Just in the smallest time of knowing you..you are the description of the perfect girl for me.. I can promise you one thing... I will protect you with my life... I'll do whatever it takes to help you put an end to all this and we can have our normal lives, okay? I said holding both her hands squeezing tight. She pulled away looking deep into my eyes.

She smiled so sweetly and nodded.

"And I'll never leave your side." I added.

"Well the job will see to that." she said with a chuckle.
