Jess's pov

When we arrived in the headquarters I felt all his weight on my shoulder. I grit my teeth as my legs grew heavy. I grunted to myself looking around for anyone to help. I walked to Marcus's office hoping he could save Kyle on time. I struggled dragging him to the office but managed.

"Agent J... what happened?" Marcus shot up out of his chair to me and Kyle.

"He got stabbed, save help him. He already lost a lot of blood." I begged while holding back tears.

"J, help me put him on my table, I'll see what I can do."

He grabbed Kyle's other arm wrapping it around him. We dragged him to his table.

"Okay, on three we are going to lift him so he's lying on his stomach."

"Okay."

"one, two..three"

"GAH!" I groaned out loud helping him lift Kyle.

I catch my breath feeling my head rush the moment we got him on the procedure table.

"J, you won't want to see this. Why don't you leave during the procedure."

"No, I'm not leaving him."

He looked at me stunned.

"Okay, if you insist but it's going to be a long surgery."

"I don't care. Just please save him."

"I'll do my best J."

Kyle's pov

I groaned out feeling so sore. I slowly opened my eyes looking around confused as I didn't remember what happened. It took me a second but everything hit me all at once. My heart jolted in speed as I quickly shot my body up searching the room in panic. My eyes landed on who I was looking for when I simply looked down at my hand.

She was sleeping while holding my hand. My heart warmed up just from the sight.

I can't believe she stayed... I could imagine she was terrified. I'm shocked I'm still alive to be honest.

I flipped my hand caressing her face. I hear her breath out while slowly looking up at me. Her eyes immediately shot open and she quickly jumped on me.

I gasped as she knocked the air out of me crushing the life out of me in a tight embrace.

"Jess... Your killing...me!" I chocked out.

She let go the second I she heard the words.

"I'm sorry I was so scared you wouldn't wake up."

I set back up looking up at her. I tensed slightly seeing she had dried tears built up on her face.

How long ago was she crying?

"How long was I out?"

"It was about 6 hours Kyle. I was so scared." she chocked in more tears.

"Hey, don't cry. Please, I'm okay." I said holding my hand out wiping her tears from her face. I placed my other hand on her cheek seeing her with a weak smile.

"It's because of you I am still alive. Thank you Jess."

"I'll do whatever it takes to save you Kyle. I.. kinda like you after all." she said lightly chuckling.

I smiled. "I kinda like you too." I added on to her teasing comment. I leaned in placing a soft kiss on her lips. This time the kiss was more heated as she slipped her tongue in my mouth. I gasped feeling my spine chill applying my tongue barely glazing against hers. She softly moaned out while pressing my chest causing us to break out kiss.

"Kyle.." she breathed out.

I looked at her immediately assuming I did something wrong.

"W-what did I do something wrong.... I'm sorry...!" I said becoming very flustered.

"N-no... you didn't do anything wrong, it's just..... Do you really love me?"

I looked at her shocked she would ask such a silly question. I smiled while grabbing both her hands. "How could I not love you? Your perfect in my eyes." I said staring deep in her mesmerizing eyes.

She looked up at me dreamily. "Can we go somewhere else, like where's that house you were talking about before?"

She pulled out the gun with a smile on her face. She shot the ground near her feet.

"Why don't you see for yourself Kyle." she said squeezing my hand tight tugging me slightly. I jumped off the table looking down the portal.

"Where is this exactly?"

"You'll find out. Oh yeah, just warning you, you won't be needing your jacket or hat here."

"Wait, what?"

She didn't say anything as she pulled me in the portal with her.

We appeared in front of a house. I was taken back by the size of the place but the biggest concern I had was...

"WHY IS IT SO HOT HERE?!?!"
