I… I can’t believe you wrote to me.
After all these years.
I can’t believe it, how you’ve been?
Are you okay, is life treating you well, Daniel?
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but when the letter touched my hands, I just knew it was from you, I could almost feel your energy.
I also saw your address.
I see you moved, huh?
Living the New City of York, it must be crazy, allthough I despise that name, I just like the old one better.
Also why the sudden need to use snail mail? Can’t we just IM each other?
I had so much trouble, the goverment of Paris called me, I thought I had done something wrong! Gone amiss somewhere, had I forgotten to pay that parking ticket?
But no, it was your letter.
They were suprised, no one uses snail mail anymore, it’s all instant through the household transporters, the postal office had to re-open just for me, can you imagine?
I really liked hearing from you, I hope we can cotninue to write to each other like these, even if it’s old school.
Thanks for writing.
By the by, I think that crazed woman was my mother, I’m terribly sorry.
P.S. I forgot, that cure she mentioned, don’t worry, you’ve done it already. Just remembering you make’s my hair stand on end, in a good way, but still you still have that effect on me after all these years.
