Walking through the town; bustling throughout the town as The Festival is upon them. Whispering appears upon the entire street as a pair of girls stand within a flower shop. One being a beautiful honey blonde bombshell of a woman her hair fully down and incredibly wavy as it ends at her waist with side swiped asymmetrical bangs that goes over her left side, dressed in beautiful pink silk clothing with dark pink pumps, dangling heart earrings and a spinel pendant around her neck, her eyes being bright raspberry, her nails having a pink manicure and having a few pink gemstone bracelets. Her body the perfect hour glass with large bust, ass and thighs, her height being 5'9, her skin is honey brown; she's clearly incredibly bored as the woman next to her, dressed in a dark blue hoodie and midnight blue wide cut pants, her hair hidden by a beanie, her dull raspberry eyes focused on the display in front of her, her ears pierced with dark blue opal studs in the form of roses, her hands in her jacket's pockets and her shoes being boots. Stark contrast of the other woman next to her,
"Why are we here again, Sonata?" asked the blonde woman impatiently, almost whining like a child, Sonata didn't answer her, only silence and a stone stare as her dull raspberry meets the other woman's bright raspberry, she looks at the other woman and groans, "I'm sorry if I'm being testy but I'm bored," the woman complains,
Maybe you should try practicing patience for once in your life Venus, Sonata thought as she looks at the other woman with that same emotionless expression, within moments a beautiful sprite with intricate dragonfly wings comes before the two women,
"Sorry for the delay madam Sonata. Here's your order. With compensation for your inconvenience." they said, Sonata holds up her hands, showing that her nails are painted in a sparkling blue manicure and a pair of white orbs appear before her and what came from them? Within her right hand, a small to medium size bag filled to the brim with product but perfectly hidden in the ever changing, ever sparkling blue tissue paper, the blue changes to different shades of said color depending on the light or where it is grabbed and in her left, a crystallized galaxy rose clip. The blonde beauty looks at the clip with sparkling eyes, "you always did have the best taste, cousin," she compliments not daring to move towards the beautiful accessory, Sonata then moves her hand still have the accessory within it. She places the clip within the blonde's hair and soon enough the clip changes color, to every shade of pink possible; a pink nebula. "Thank you Sonata!" The woman cheered as the two walk out of the shop now having what they need. The two walk side by side, the woman chatting happily while thanking the other girl profusely for the clip.
They walk down the streets of the festival set up as the people around them as they walk. Venus is radiant as she continues to admire the pink nebula rose pin within her hair, cheerily and profusely thanking her cousin for the pin. While the other girl remains silent. Still listening to her cousin chirp happily;
a bolt of fire comes at the two, Sonata dodges it while a pink shield appears before Venus with her palm wide open. It is quite the feat to dodge the fire bolts as it is easier to just block them with shields as Venus is doing. Sonata is dodging the oncoming bolts with a fluidness that most dancers would kill for. The attackers are practically gritting their teeth as they finally come out from hiding and is now openly attacking only Sonata who didn't put up a perfect shield like her cousin Venus. "Why won't you just put up a shield?!" the attacker roared making a ring of bolts all around them in a circle with multiple stray ones and fired at Sonata.
"She doesn't see the need to." Venus answers as her shield transforms into a spear, "I on the other hand." She opens fire at the attackers, "do not share her views and do see the need to use magic whenever I'm being attacked." Venus made them all scatter as an attack of powerful spells are being launched at them.
Venus Musa is a powerful witch and someone that no one should willingly mess with. Venus's cousin Sonata is a wildcard. No one knows what kind of magic she wields but due to how beautiful her garden is and how skilled she is in the culinary arts. It's a known fact that culinary, gardening and magic go hand in hand. Venus is a very good cook and can launch an entire lightning storm without getting tired. But due to how her cousin Sonata is leagues a better gardener and a better baker, she's incredibly powerful but will not be provoked into using any sort of spells, not even the easiest of ones for the pettiest of things. Her self control is something that gains attention of people of all sorts of places.
All of immense power.
Once the attackers have scattered away, Sonata has given a deep sigh, "you know. It wouldn't kill you to cast an energy ball to defend yourself every once in a while." Venus says, Sonata just looks at her with a blanker look if it were possible, "I'm just saying. Suitors wouldn't have to send their minions to test your resolve or if you have magic at all if you did a bit of magic every once in a while." Venus says showing her hands up in innocence. The hooded girl just spins on her heels and walk off, power walking down to the next shop. Venus has to levitate herself to keep up as Sonata is more fit than her. "Where are we going next?" Venus asked floating next to her cousin, she pulled out a folded sheet of paper with beautiful dark lavender boarding from her pocket and handed it to her, written in beautiful cursive is the next shop they are going to.
Abyss Supplies.
They get to a large building of at least couple acres with three floors above and endless floors below, basically a large mall under one banner. The pink clad woman groans in exasperation as they approach the store, "why here?" she asks, she points at the paper, it shows directly under the name of the store, is a list. An expansive list that takes up her entirety of the page; the only way to check the item off is to literally cross it out. "Point taken." Venus says begrudgingly agreeing with her silent 'are you goddamn serious right now?', a silent huff and the two walk inside, Sonata is walking faster if possible. "wait up! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to make you mad!" Venus called as she flies to catch up.
The two women walk through the building, on the inside, it looks like the starry skies and the large orbs that could be mistaken for planets; it's the sections. Entire stores worth of product is a single section. There's even whole restaurants within this single store. She took a deep breath, raising her hands to her face and exhaled deeply, a deep set cart with blue and black metal, wheels nice and oiled and will not be moved unless she (Sonata) moves it and a dark raspberry handle. The list in Sonata's hands and Venus ran off to the clothing and fashion section (every fashionista's and shopaholic's paradise) and will remain there until Sonata goes there to get what she needs.
Sonata walks around the store, the cart quickly filling up with all sorts of supplies of art and culinary. Mainly that of baking. I'm just glad that my inheritance is mine to do with as I please...and that the accounts that my mother has made for me are only accessible to me, looks like mom knows her sister incredibly well, Sonata thought as she looks at the packs of baking trays in all sorts of colors and designs as it will change colors while in her hands, it's blank until someone picks it up, it'll become the colors (while perfectly coincided with black as it's made for baking and of high temperatures). She decided for the ones in her left hand as it holds more quality and more bang for her buck as it holds a 'surprise' for all that gets this packaging. She had gotten entire packs and bundles of different baking utensils because her aunt has a 'habit' of breaking hers when she's angry or giving them to Venus only to be lost, never to be found again. Venus has apologized profusely about all the things she had lost while her mother scolds her for losing it, even though she will never apologize for taking said thing without asking in the first place. She holds no remorse or regret of what she does her niece as she believes it is her right and that Sonata should be grateful that she's staying in her house. Mina can't wrap her head around of why her niece now avoids her like the plague and why she is mute and basically refuse to involve her in anything, no matter what.
Sonata's cart is practically overflowing with baking supplies and tools. She even has a tightly packed stacked of different kinds, types and sizes of ramekins lining the cart. She had at least three mixers in her cart. multiple packs and bundles of whisks, spoons, spatulas, and other types of things. All used for baking/cooking.
She also had gotten colored pencils (of all kinds), pencils, pens, erasers, markers, multiple sketchbooks, paintbrushes, journals, notebooks, artist charcoal, canvases amongst other kinds of art supplies. I think that's it for the art supplies, Sonata thought as she looks over the list, there was nothing else for the art supplies. Good, I can start my new class without difficulty, Sonata thought as she looks at the list. The only thing left is the clothing supplies, Sonata thought and let out a loud exhale through puffed lips, Venus is gonna have a field day and ask a billion questions a minute, Sonata inwardly sighs as she walks towards the clothing orb in the shape of a eight pointed star. She's leaning against the cart and walks directly towards the smocks and aprons. She had gotten the artist editions of smocks and aprons, at least 6 of different designs and heavy duty material. She also got chef's aprons as well. The best part?
The items in her cart are of the cursed variety of the protection variant. They can't be stolen nor taken without her direct consent. The clothing items will not be usable as it will become incredibly painful for anyone that tries to take it. The only way to get past this painful protocol from activating on you, is to have helped with the purchase of said items. Sonata is to purchase her items herself, as per her aunt's orders (the reason is because her aunt told her point blank is because she doesn't have any sort of access to the money that my parents have left for her and due to the fact she is the only survivor, all of Aria's accounts and inheritance is merged into her own, no access for anyone that isn't a direct relative of Sonata. Not cousin, but brother or sister); Venus knows this. She smirks to herself as she picks up the cursed items of the protection enchantment. Protection curses are not something to take lightly. She continued shopping. Walking through the aisles. Going only towards the protected cursed items. Plucking the ones that she likes and places them to her cart.
Venus has a basket filled with clothing and jewelry that she loves. The mirror shows her what she would look like in any or all out of the product that she's been eying. Venus spots her cousin, seeing that her cart is incredibly full. She teleported directly before her, her basket is in her hands and floating above her head, "soo...? What's the art supplies for?" Venus asked, Sonata pulls out another piece of paper with only two words written on it; she wrote down answers for anything her cousin may ask,
New Class.
The two walk to the cash registers, Venus talking the whole time smiling and laughing about her newest and latest hauls while Sonata remained silent and poker faced. Once there. Venus went first as clothing and jewelry can be done quite quickly.
It quickly racked up to over 800,000 Star Coin. That's a lot of money. Venus pulls out a beautiful pink burst debit card. Her credit card has pink roses upon it. She also chose getting reusable bags, again pink being the main color of said bags. The payment had been accepted and handed the receipt to the smiling blonde.
Sonata's purchases on the other hand...they are incredibly hard and will take a long time. Her cart vanishing and all of her purchases are upon the belt. The divider firmly in place so that it can't be moved. Sonata walked right to the register, where the card reader is. She pulls out a thicker card of dark forest green card with a singular large reflective butterfly with the colors that go from midnight blue to bright raspberry. There's a silhouette of a tree in the background. The bright gamboge, vivid orange and electric gold chip at the top (center almost resembling the sun), a beautiful magenta and fuchsia treble clef at the bottom left corner. This card acts like both a credit card and a debit card due to how her family set it all up. The card in it's natural state will act like debit and will do roundups for her every time she makes a purchase. Especially when it's quite expensive. And her shopping is incredibly expensive.
How expensive?
500 Sun Coin.
Sharp inhales from everyone in line. Faces twisting into that of pain and sympathy. Some people whispering to one another of what could've transpired to require the young woman to spend that much money. Her cousin's face twists as she sees the price of Sonata's purchases. Guilt quickly flooding through her very being. 500 Sun Coin isn't something to sneeze at. 500 Sun Coin is enough to pay off at least three different kinds of heavy duty debts all at once. If you have a credit card problem would be solved with that kind of money and you would have a buffer for months if not years because you submitted that much money.
Sonata doesn't even flinch and just put the card into the reader and types in the pin (if stolen or taken without permission...it'll be a fancy paper weight as it'll completely hide everything from the strip, patterns and the very chip itself, it'll become completely blank), it goes through. She also had the reusable bags, both insulated, protected and long lasting. Adding another 10 Sun Coin to the sale.
End result:
510 Sun Coin has been spent that day. Sonata doesn't budge and just accepted it.
