Ally's POV:
I looked at Simon, wide-eyed. 'Did he just say Simon Cowell?' I thought. "Hello there. You must be the surprise fan that I was told about, it's nice to meet you" Simon said, holding out his hand. I snapped out my star-struck thoughts and said, "I'm Ally, I can't believe I'm meeting you!" I exclaimed as I shook his hand, smiling. "Well I hope you're ready, we should be taking off pretty soon," Simon said. "Alright everyone, please find your seats as we prepare for takeoff," A pilot said over an intercom. I was suddenly nervous again. I started to mess around with the strings of my hoodie when I felt a hand on my shoulder. It wasn't Simon, he had gone up front to talk to the pilots. So I looked behind me and I saw it was Ant. "Come on, love. You and I have a seat right here beside Dec." Ant showed me to my seat. I smiled at him, trying my best to hide the fact that I was nervous. I mustn't have done well though, because as soon as I sat down, he said to me, "Are you alright?" I looked up at him, trying my best to put on a brave face. "Y-yeah, I'll be okay I guess. I'm just a bit scared. I've never flown on an airplane before." I said as I bit my lower lip. Around that time Dec came up and sat down to beside Ant. I didn't even realize that I was seated right next to the window, I felt even more nervous because of this. I glanced at Dec, and he must've seen the look in my eyes. "Ally here mentioned that she's never been outside the country, due to anxiety," Dec said to Ant. He nodded and said, "Would you like to sit here then? You'd be seated right in between me and Dec here, but it might be more comfortable?" I looked at him and smiled, "Yes, please." So we switched seats, and Ant helped me with the seat buckle. I thought that was really sweet of Ant to do something like that, just then, the plane started to speed down the runway, and I grabbed the nearest thing I could.
Ant's POV:
I felt something grabbing my hand, and I looked down and saw that Ally had grabbed my hand. 'Poor girl, she seems scared,' I thought. So, I clutched her hand back, doing my best to comfort her, and said, "Don't worry Ally, the takeoffs are always a wee bit scary. You should have seen Dec when we came here." I chuckled. "He wouldn't let go of the armrests for five minutes." "Hey, I wasn't that scared." Dec stated, I looked at him still chuckling and noticed he had a small blush on his cheeks, 'cute,' I thought. I was broken out of my thoughts when I heard a small giggle and looked down to find it was Ally. "Feeling better?" I asked her. "A little" She looked up at me and gave me a small smile. I thought it was adorable, I could feel my cheeks getting a bit warm. 'Am I blushing' I thought briefly. I shook the thought away from my mind.
For the rest of the flight. Dec and I did our best to distract Ally from any negative thoughts. Soon enough, we heard over the intercom "Ladies and Gentlemen, please buckle your seatbelts as we make our way to London Airport." I guess we were so busy talking to Ally that we didn't even realize how much time had past, we didn't even hear the pilot say that we could unbuckle our seat belts!
