The panic in the bunker is at an all-time high, the supplies are critically low. And everyone is questioning Elton's leadership.
Andrea Murrel, the doctor who saved Jessica's life miraculously, went to rest but on her way back to check up on Jessica, she notices blood streaming beneath the door. Andrea takes the gun that was suspended on the wall, and cautiously puts her hand on the doorknob with her blond coiffured hair banded behind her neck and prepares herself for the unknown.
In the emergency room, Spencer has deceased and his eyes were open, fixed in the direction of Jessica's bed.
Jessica regretted what she had done but she knew there was no coming back. After The Big Blast, killing is an unforgivable act, it will get you exiled from the bunker, forever. She is laying on her bed, looking at the room ceiling, and constantly repeats with her low-pitched voice: " My Family, My Priority… My Family, My Priority… " Jessica reaches to Spencer's gun holster and vows to kill whoever sees what she had done.
In the meantime, Andrea carefully opens the door as Jessica keeps on repeating, in the most pathetic way, ironically with a gun in her hand:" He wanted to hurt me. He wanted to hurt me."
And Andrea politely replied: "... it's okay.." and she continues after a brief silence: "... put the gun down Jessica"
Andrea knows that Jessica's actions are highly unpredictable after losing her father at the fire, her brother was shot, and even her life was on the line just a while ago. This isn't going to end well, Andrea asks her peacefully again to put the gun down, Jessica responds hopelessly: " you are not gonna forgive me, I don't wanna go out there."
"No.. We're not gonna send you out there. It's okay Jessica. It's okay…" Andrea answers. Each step closer puts her life in jeopardy. When next to her bed, she smiles to make her feel comfortable. Even if the smell of Spencer's corpse made it impossible. She had to. In the nick of time, either she kills or be killed.
Both Andrea and Jessica trade mortal shots with their gun in one stroke, resulting in a fatal end.
The blanket is covered with Jessica's blood and her pain disappeared instantly. The ground is now a mixture of Spencer and Andrea's gore.
All their bodies' skin turned to tinged grey with blue lips. It was so much horror. The life and passion that had dwelt within them have gone, the minds that felt so many emotions are blank.
The guns' sound echoed in Felix's ear and he runs to the source. Meanwhile, the disease has gotten into Jessica and she stands up with an open chest, blood dripping from her, and hears steps behind the door. It was Jasmine, she opens the door after hearing the gunshot and Jessica jumps on top of her inside tearing her flesh apart. Emily Franz was staring at the scene of terror in the hallway in front of the emergency room, she takes the gun that was suspended on the wall and shoots Jessica on the back of her head. Jasmine still alive barely able to scream:".. kill me! Kill me! Please!" she was crying in pain, Emily points the gun at her and was hesitating her mother, Charlaine, quickens in her direction and takes the gun from Emily and does the mercy killing herself and starts apologizing to Emily for witnessing this. Emily's face, however, had a blank expression.
Too Much Mayhem In the bunker, Elton Felix's leadership is the talk of the hour. Felix now must take a team of explorers and head to the city where Spencer claimed he saw people. When they arrived at the location, all excited and exhausted from recent events, they were astonished as Spencer didn't make it up. Felix thought: " Maybe we should talk to them, and maybe work on making this place better for all of us." even if they seemed too strange to be humans. He makes his way to them and they lower their guns as a sign of peace and addresses them saying: "Can I speak with your leader?" everyone stares in his direction, all bloodthirsty and they started attacking the Explorers from the bunker.
They had no choice but to engage in a war. They started shooting and taking them down, but the ammunition wasn't enough, they were surrounded and most of them died and worse, eaten alive. However, they never backed up as they kept fighting their way out against this merciless sea of humanity. It was certain that they will not make it out alive, but they vowed to die together.
One man leaves the battlefield and goes back to the bunker, all covered in blood and sweat just running in the desert until he arrived and screams when he got in there, all confused and aghast:" They didn't make it."
