Yoongi did return to his world. He decided to ask Taehyung in person rather than just communicate with him through their telepathical connection.
"Taehyung-ah!?" He called, walking up the stairs of the Shoppe, ignoring Hoseok for the moment. "Taehyung-"
"He went out."
"Out where?" Yoongi asked.
"He didn't say."
"Of couse, fucking great."
"Why? What do you need him for?"
"Well I need you as well as I need him."
"Why?" He asked, tilting his head in curiosity.
"Well you see-"
The Shoppe door opened, in stepped Jungkook and behind him was - you guessed it- Taehyung. Covered in blood.
"Jungkook, your face-" Hoseok walked around the counter to cup the younger's cheek. Frowning at the cut, he began to scold the two boys.
"You two need to be more careful-!"
"It's just a scratch, hyung. Nothing too major."
"Nothing too major my ass!" Hoseok started again. "That's deep enough to leave a scar!"
"Hobi-ah," Taehyung spoke lowly, his deep voice filling the air. "Please, calm down. We're fine."
"I highly doubt that, look at the poor boy; his eyes are full of fear."
"Well what did you expect we were dealing with f-" Taehyung smacked the younger upside the head. "Are you trying to get us in trouble."
"What were you 'dealing' with?" Yoongi questioned protectively.
"Those fanged fuckfaces." Taehyung bit his lips to restrain the smirk that tried to make itself known.
"Jungkook! Language! What have you been teaching him, Taehyung!? My gosh.." Hoseok scolded.
"Don't blame me. I didn't know he was a parrot."
"Hey!" Jungkook smacked his chest defensively. "I'm not a parrot. I just said it because I can. I'm not a child, I can curse if I want to." He frowned.
"Moving on to a more important subject." Yoongi began. " I need your help. Jungkook you can come if you want to, I don't care and I don't think they'll mind-"
"Who?" Hoseok interrupted.
"Seokjin; one of Jimin's friends... has been imprinted and it's been a few days since then so like... it's.. you know.." He began to trail off. "When do they want us there?" Taehyung asked, removing his hooded cloak and placing his bag on the table.
"Taehyung, keep your bloody shit off my tables!" Hoseok whined.
"It's clean. Thank you." Taehyung rolled his eyes. "Hoseokie-hyung, please calm down and stop being so whiny. Taehyung-ah and I went shopping and hunting. Unintentional hunting. We ran into Jihyun-"
"You ran into Jihyun? Pet store Jihyun?" Yoongi asked, remembering the name tag of the man Jimin had talked to the day he had picked him up.
"Pet store..?"
"Yoongi, just because two people have the same name doesn't mean that they're the same person-"
"No shit but I don't know anyone here named Jihyun."
"You don't talk to people. That's why." He stated simply. "Then who here is named Jihyun?" Yoongi asked sarcastically, rolling his eyes slightly as he sat in the chair.
"One of the guards I had met in the barracks one time. I saw him in the bar the other day, said he needed a favour, wanted to meet up. So I did but Jungkook wouldn't listen to me when I told him to go home-"
"He gave me a dagger!"
"Jungkook!"
"Taehyung why do you keep getting this boy into danger?"
"Why do you keep yelling at him? Jungkook needs to learn how to fight at some point, he should at least learn now when people have some time to teach him." Yoongi voiced.
"Thank you! Finally.. someone agrees."
"I don't agree with either of you, I'm merely being the voice of reason." Jungkook began stocking the cabinets with ingredients and small boxed items.
"Jungkook... how did you get that cut on your cheek?" Hoseok questioned. "THat's not important." Taehyung said coldly. "What's important is that we go through the portal before it disappears so we can help this friend Yoongi mentioned."
"Well.." Hoseok trailed. "I suppose you're right." Taehyung nodded, "I'm always right." He began to walk away. "I'm going to get clothes for us to wear to blend in," he set a hand on the rail. "And leave your weapons here. Don't do anything stupid." He stalked off.
"Jungkook, why did you two really hunt vampires?"
"Well.." He trailed off, beginning to twiddle with his fingers. "I can't say.. It isn't my business as to why it was done." He went upstairs- possibly to his room or to go accompany Taehyung.
"Why do we need to help Jimin's friend?"
"Because.." Yoongi began.
_____
The four boys approached the portal.
"Why does it look like that?" The youngest questioned, pointing at the portal- a frown on his face.
"Oh shut up or I'll push you in it." Hoseok grumbled, sick of the younger's whining. "Hoseok stop being a douche." Yoongi blurted, forgetting that Jungkook was only fifteen- and per Hoseok's request shouldn't be exposed to 'vulgar language.'
He immediately covered his mouth. "Kook never repeat the questionable things Yoongi says until you're *at least* eighteen." Jungkook rolled his eyes, he was fifteen not a baby.- he didn't understand why he could only say 'bad words' and 'inappropriate things' when he was around either Taehyung or Yoongi- because neither of them cared when Hoseok wasn't around.
"Hobi-Hyung, why are you the only one who cares when I say something 'inappropriate for my age'?"
"Because, you're only fifteen-"
"I started cursing at fifteen-"
"Yeah, and look how you turned out. You're an asshole most days."
"That has nothing to do with me cursing. I'm an asshole because I choose to be. And I'm only an asshole to you because you try to restrict what I do or say- I'm older than you and I don't have to listen to you. Your orders have always fallen on deaf ears, Hoseok. I don't care that your my brother, that Voldemort was your father. I do what I want because I want to. Did Voldemort ever restrict me to certain things? No. Why do you feel you have the right to?"
The mention of Voldemort- good or bad- always snapped Hoseok's mouth shut. He never knew when people were going to mention his father or put himself down because he's not as good a wizard as his father.
"You're right.." He mumbled. "We're brothers... I shouldn't treat you like shit."
Yoongi ventured forwards, "we need to get to them before anything bad happens."
_______
"I don't want to."
"Jin, you have to."
"I don't have to do anything."
"I didn't want to either, but I did it." Jimin intervened. They both looked at him. "You didn't want the poison to be drawn from your system?"
Jimin shook his head. "I mean... I've always kinda wanted to die. What's the point of living? I don't do anything productive, I don't talk about my job because it's dirty and gross. I shouldn't be doing it but I am because I suck at everything else I do. I'm a waste of space.. But you're not. Your future is better than anyone's."
"Jimin.. Baby.. What is that you do? You never did tell us." Jimin sighed; he knew Jin would be upset so he shook his head. "Jimin-ah, come here."
He shook his head again. "Why should I tell you? You'd be disappointed. You'd resent me."
"Jimin I could never-"
"I'm a stripper!" Jimin blurted. Jin's eyes grew in disbelief. "There! I said it. Happy?" The older shook his head. "Jimin why did you.. Why would you do that to yourself? Why would you sell your body like that?"
"I needed the money."
"Why didn't you ask Namjoon or I? You know we would help you.. We live together for fucks sake our money is your money." The younger shook his head. "I don't want your help. I don't want your money. I did nothing to earn it, therefore none of it is mine."
“Jiminie.. Baby.. I…”
“Jinnie, please just.. Forget I said. I’m going to bed.” He brushed past the pair and into his room. He closed his door and locked it. He plugged his phone into charge, resting the device on his bedside nightstand.
He changed into his pajamas and laid in bed. Covering himself with his large quilt, he thought about Yoongi. And Taehyung. And Hoseok. And Jungkook. He thought about how the youngest’s name sounded so familiar to him.. So familiar when said. Familiar when the younger speaks to him, laughs or smiles.
Maybe I’ve seen him in one of my nightmares? Maybe I’m just going crazy.. Maybe I need sleep.
Jimin closed his eyes, trying to rid himself of thoughts about Yoongi and the others; they just didn’t seem to leave his mind. Was it the fight between Yoongi and I that has made me this way> Was it that I was so used to being with them that I … I don’t know what it’s like being without them?
Jimin felt tears slowly build up behind his closed eyes, he curled his knees to his chest and began to cry. He wasn’t entirely sure what was upsetting him. Maybe it was his fight with Yoongi, or getting kicked out of the village that they lived in. Maybe it was being away from his best friends for such a long time. Or maybe the nightmares that stressed him out. He wasn’t quite sure. But he knew that it had to be one of those.
He heard soft knocks at his door.
“Hey, Chim… Uhm I know you’re probably a bit upset with us but I have dinner for you.. I know you said you were going to bed but I want you to at least eat a little bit of something, yeah?”
It was Namjoon. Jimin didn’t want to get up, but he didn’t want to leave Namjoon out there when he wasn’t mad nor upset with him.
He slithered out of bed and lazily scooted across the floor and unlocked the door before scooting back to his bed and climbing in it.
Jimin heard his door open as he proceeded to bury himself in his blanket.
“Can I come in?” Jimin hummed and shook his head furiously, Namjoon made his way through the younger boy’s room and sat on bed. He placed the takeout container on the bedside table resting the utensils atop it; patting the younger’s arm, he said: “I’m gonna leave so you can eat, but is there anything you want before I go to bed?” Jimin thought for a moment. “Hmm.. Do we have wine?”
“U-Uhm yeah do you want me to pour you a glass?”
“How about two bottles?”
“Jimin-”
“I’m not gonna get drunk.. My tolerance is higher than yours.”
“Hey.” He said in mock offense. “What? You know it’s-”
“Shut up. I’ll bring you the bottles.”
“Don’t tell Hyung, okay? Our little secret?” Jimin asked. “Alright.”
“Promise me.” He demanded, holding his pinky up to the older. Namjoon sighed, interlocking his pinky with the younger’s before getting up to retrive the wine bottles.
After returning he handed them to the younger boy before wishing him a goodnight and left.
And that night… Jimin drank to his heart’s content as he ate the takeout Namjoon had given him.
______________
Time skip~
Despite having woken up with a killer headache and sore muscles, Jimin managed to get up at a somewhat decent time, shower and shave, and have his breakfast before heading out to meet up with his boss about his recent absences.
**********
Yoongi knocked on the old Victorian door, it being opened soon after. As he stepped in the air hit him differently. "Jimin's not home."
"He's definitely home. He most likely got drunk last night and is still sleeping." Namjoon reasoned.
"Drunk?" Jin parroted. "I should kill you-"
"But you love him so you won't. Now let's get a move on we probably won't have all day." The vampire spoke as he drifted behind Jin, injecting him with a needle.
"Don't worry, Lover Boy. He'll wake in about seven hours. In the meantime, you and Yoongles talk and we'll examine your hubby." Hoseok and Taehyung were up the stairs to what they could assume as the married couple's bedroom.
…
"So... It's just us." Namjoon said.
"Yeah... So, what should we do?" Namjoon shrugged. "Do you want to watch Avatar?" (the anime not the movie you uncultured swines)
"Actually.. What about Harry Potter? Jimin said -"
"Oh no.. Jimin hates the movies. We don't own any of them. Just the books. Every. Single. Book. They're up in his room, if you want to read them you can." Yoongi nodded. "And no magic."
"Excuse-"
"Do it for Jimin. Read the book without your magic."
"Just because I speak in your language doesn't mean I can read it." The elder snapped, making his way upstairs to the youngest's room.
"Well.." He said. "Didn't expect that attitude."
