I didn't sleep much last night but I couldn't. sleep on the way to the hospital. I was way too nervous. I just wanted to see my sister. I want to ask her myself what happened. I mean I'm a detective myself. It was kinda surprising. Most omegas can't get jobs like that. Most end up being housewives. I was going to figure this out myself.

"Max, we're here." It was just my mother and me today. My father had to work. When we walked in, I sat down as mother filled everything out. About 20 to 30 minutes later, they told us we could officially see her. The nurse led the way to her room. When she opened the door for us, I made sure I was the first person in the room. I slightly smiled when I saw her. Sakura was sitting there with her daughter in her lap. Sakura has beautiful, fine, pink hair. She always has red ribbons in her hair holding it up like Yuno Gasi. Sakura has bright, baby-blue eyes. I walked up and hugged her wife, Nikki. Nikki has light orange hair. Her eyes are the same baby-blue as Sakura. Both are extremely tan too. Those two are the exact same height, 5’6. I ,on the other hand, am extremely short. I’m exactly 5’3. Sakura lit up when she saw me.

“Oh look, The white-haired ghost is here.” Sakura, you are lucky today. Mother would have beat the crap out of you for saying that.

“Hey, ghosts have grey eyes. Mine are forest green. Plus ghosts don’t have freckles” I had to retort with something. I was born with white hair. My roots are a dark brown though. It sits at my shoulders, though, I am letting it grow out. I have what others say are an astonishing shade of forest green eyes. I also am really pale. I mean I have color but not a lot. Freckles are dotted all across my cheeks and nose.

“Okay. Okay. You win.” Of course, I do. Everyone sees me as a weak omega. My mother, Nikki, and her daughter all left the room. They seem to be giving us time to ourselves.

“Wow. You didn’t put up a fight.”

“Not right now. You look like you need to ask me something bro.”

“Yea, I do. I want to know what you remember from the accident.” I will make sure I figure this out. I will find out who was behind the hit and run.

“Don’t get into any trouble now. I remember the car was solid black. It had blacked out windows. I barely got to see the face but the guy had his ears all out in the open. He had blue faded into black hair. I think he may have been crying. I’m not sure.” Holy hell. I have my work cut out for me. I wonder if she could tell the second gender.

“Do you know what he was?” I’m really hoping for beta or lower. God, if you are real, PLEASE HELP ME!

“I think he was an alpha. He obviously was an heir to something. This guy was dressed kinda formal.” GOD DAMNIT. I HAVE TO DEAL WITH A DAMN ALPHA. HE’S GONNA TRY TO TREAT ME LIKE SHIT AND UGHHHHHHHH…

“Thank you.” Fuck. She’s gonna know I’m pissed now.

Her doctor arrived in the room. I moved off to the side refusing to look at him. Of course her doctor is an alpha. Most are. I will not make eye contact with an useless alpha.... What is that smell? I turn around and try to figure it out. I told my sister I would be back later. It smells a lot like caramel. Normally, I would cringe at it but this one is inviting and comforting. I track the smell down to this alpha who is staring me down. GOD DAMNIT. DON'T MAKE EYE CONTACT MAX. Why don't I ever listen to myself. I stared him directly in the eyes. Suddenly everything around me turned to black.
