Chapter 02: ステータス探査①

Okay, since the joke finally felt old. I decided to revert to my otherwise normal character...

Serious Mode Activate!

If this were an anime, manga or light novel that I quite enjoy watching and reading, then this pattern should be, me being sent to another world and chosen as a hero to save this world from its impending doom.

That should be the norm. Let’s accept it as that so that I can reclaim my sanity.

Okay, let's trace I should have been asleep in my bed after finishing recording all the necessary date in my class record.

That’s about the normal part. After that I was in a state of lucid dreaming and got hit by a ship, twice… seem about right.

Then nothing... if it were the norm, then I would have seen god, telling me that I was summoned because of some mistake or that I was to be sent to become a hero... or be sent in a room where I was summoned and have an elderly king say "Oh, hero please save us from the demon lord"... (Frankly speaking I would prefer a beautiful princess over an elderly king.) But nothing of that sort... I am currently in a white sandy beach, which is pretty beautiful by the way and would love to explore it if not for my current predicament.

Since the oddities seem to be full blown I decided to check another aspect to determine my current situation.

I focused on my head and concentrated.

The ‘ping’ resounded in my head and in front of me is a status screen akin to that of games.

If this were a game it was pretty well made. After all in my current knowledge augmented reality was still a working progress, the closest thing we could get in a virtual reality game is where we have limited interaction with the game environment.

For now I check the status screen, floating in the center corner of my sight. It seems to be a standard status screen defined with the high tech AR.

The screen buttons in the status were as follows:

I hit the 『LOG』 button and another window popped at the upper bottom corner of my vision.

Something was written there:

It looks like it had logged my most recent activity, as I indeed someone from another world which seems to be an obvious title.

Fumu... since there is only one entry it would not be much of help, but decided to check logs from time to time. I clicked the 『CLOSE』 button and hit the 『STATUS』 button　next.

It was a normal status profile except for the SUMMONED HUMAN part. I guess this is to differentiate a regular human from the summoned ones. I also seem to have gone younger, in my previous world I should be somewhere around 30+.

It seems that the question mark [?] at the end will further detail the different status. For now I click on the question mark aligning status: 【BODY INHERENT CONSTITUTION: MANA INTOXICATION SYNDROME】

Info: Sudden fluctuations of Mana will become toxic, not fatal so long as the Mana does not exceed a certain percentage.

This was my impression after looking at my STATS

First I had a small LIFE FORCE, a few hits from any attack and I would dead, my Phys DEF is also a joke that would not help me protect that very small LIFE FORCE.

What the...?

Well for now I leave it as is since I can’t get further details than this.
