Chapter 08: 『』の船のキャプテン

I checked the status of the three weapons, to ascertain my combat prowess.

I picked-up the [rusted sword] and gave it a slight swing. Nope, it just gave off a dull sound and some of the rust splattered on the ground, the edge was jagged. Condition: Not fit for Combat

The [short knife] gave a more slicing sound, and the edge seems that it can still cut. Condition: with the shortness of the blade of the knife and the skill I have it could not be used for combat. However it should still be sharp enough to cut something.

The [short bow] would be the only thing that could be considered combat worthy, well that is as soon as I can get used to shooting it. Condition: Ready for combat.

Before leaving completely I focus my mind and...

I immediately pressed the question mark symbol to get the details.

Info: All stored in this Detachment Room can be accessed outside the ship. However you cannot store items from the outside.

Info: allocated items will be forcibly returned to its place of allocation after 5 minutes of non-usage from the captain.

After reading the explanation, an extra button was added in my storage menu.

Right it would seem that I can take out items from the outside but I can’t put items in. I have to do it manually do it here at the Detachment Room, It's a bit inconvenient but it has its own perks.

At the moment, I can only store 15 items here, and while outside whatever new things I bring cannot be stored directly. It would seem that it is quite an inconvenience, but there is a slight advantage... it would mean that I will never lose an item as long as it is allocated here.

The plus button seems to be a button to allocate a space for an item I want to be available for detachment. But with no Magic Core I don’t think I can increase that… no that I have any items to allocate here in the first place

For now I left the weapons in the Detachment Room, and decided to head up.

"Looks like this will be it for the lower and bottom deck, better head back up."

When I got to the main deck, the sun had set and darkness had enveloped the surroundings. Strangely enough the ship was lit and illuminated the way to the helm deck and the captain's cabin. As the current captain it should be my room.

Inside the room was at least not empty.

At the table in the center was some sort of canvas that could only be considered as a chart; however the chart was all black, except for a small area, if I had to surmise it would be where I am currently docked.

"Let as see if it reacts..."

Using my index finger, I double pointed at the where it was not blackened... and as I have guessed, the chart enlarged itself and showed the cliff that the 『』 ship was currently docked. The blackened area indicated the areas that I still need to be explored. Since I have walked a distance from where I have been initially placed, I had cleared a few explorations in the chart.

I zoomed out and click on a random black area on the chart.

《Would you like to select this place as a destination for auto-pilot?》

“Convenient.” T thought, it would seem that I can use this map to also navigate to a destination I want to proceed.

Since I am still inspecting the ship, i clicked 'NO' and move to the bookshelves line at the sides.

I was intrigue with the books where line there. As captain I need to read its contents, there might be some information about this place. Well here is to hoping.
