Never in his life, would Phi feel so confused, as he did that night. Not only, was his sister's lover, here in this city, but he was also, now laying on her lap, bleeding out, from a dagger, Phil himself had thrown. After everything his sister had gone through, only to lose the love of her life, because of a misunderstanding, was in it of itself, not fair.

Yet, what was more confusing, was the reaction of the people, that came after Attar. Three young women, in their 20s followed by 2 huge, muscular men, came rushing out, from inside the tavern. However, instead of attacking Phil, the 5 just looked bored, at the sight. One of the girls, ran to him, and hugged him tightly.

Eve: “Phil, you are alive! Thankfully. I knew you wouldn't leave this world so easily!”

Phil: “Who are you? Why do you seem so familiar? Have we met before?”

Eve: “Of course we have, silly! I told you last time: “You are going to be my husband!””

Phil: “That's not possible. The only person, who has ever said those words to me, was a little girl.”

Eve: “I am not that little anymore. Besides, I am way older than you, or even Attar.”

Selene: “HIC! Can you save him?”

Pandora hugged Selene, while Lily checked his condition. She seemed relieved.

Lily: “He doesn't need saving.”

Selene: “NO! Please, DO something!”

Pandora: “What my sister means is, he will be alright. He doesn't need saving, because, his life is not in danger.”

Selene: “But he had a dagger in his spine!”

Lily: “Ugh, yeah! That'll be irritating for a while. Anyway, we can't talk here. Where are you staying, Selene?”

Attar answered instead:

Attar: “In the room above ours.”

Selene: “Attar! You are awake!? How are you feeling?”

Attar: “Paralyzed.”

Selene: “No...”

Attar: “Don't worry little princess. I'll be all right. But we can't stay here! Castor, Pollux, help me get back to your home! Selene, Phil, I believe you two have a story to tell?”

Phil: “Wait! I... I'm sorry!”

In the meantime, Castor placed Attar on his back, his arms, around the neck, while his feet, dangling in the air. Castor & Pollux, were both, much, much taller than Attar. And wider, with strong muscles, covering their bodies.

Attar: “Don't worry kid!”-smiling.

The group, quickly proceeded to their lodgings. Entering through the front door, the butler, wasn't even surprised, at their strange sight. They made their way, to the 3rd floor. Inside the room, there were 4 beds, 2 of which, were occupied.

Pandora: “Alexander!”

Lily: “Caesarion!”

The two, rushed to their respective partner.

Meanwhile, Selene helped Castor, lay Attar on her bed. As she was busy fussing over his injury, Phil, feeling guiltier than before, helped his sister, clean his wound. Attar, laying on his stomach, refused to use any pillow, other than Selene's lap. Positioning his ear, on her belly, his arms, holding on, to her waist. Still awake, he could hear all of their conversations, yet, that wasn't the sound he was most interested in. No. The sweetest sound, was coming from Selene. A heartbeat!

Castor & Pollux, leaned on the door and window respectively. They watched, as Selene was sitting on her bed, with Attar, holding on to her. Pandora, quietly sitting besides Alex's bed, while he was laying in a deep sleep. And Lily, gently stroking Cesar's head, as he lay there, unmoving. All the while, Phil was being consoled by Eve.

Castor: “OK, kids. I believe you all have a story to tell. Who wants to go first?”

No one responded.

Pollux: “Then, I'll start. Your highness, how do you know each other?”

Attar and Selene, responded simultaneously.

Castor: “Young lady, I was asking his highness, prince Attar.”

Attar: “ARGH! How many times do I have to tell you, to not cal me “highness”?”

Pollux: “You are our crown princess's son.”

Attar: “You do know, that Venus is no longer occupied! I am just my mother's son!”

Selene: “You are a prince? You never told me that!”

Attar: “A prince, to a kingdom, that no longer exists! Same as you, I suppose.”

Selene: “Yeah! That's right! Anyway. How are you feeling?”

Attar: “Much better, now that I am with you!”

Pollux: “Enough with the sweet talks. Someone, start explaining! Now!”

Attar: “Fine, I'll go first then! AHEM! Castor, Pollux, Eve, Lily, Pandora, allow me to introduce to you, her royal highness, princess Cleopatra Selene of Egypt. My wife, and most importantly, my bonded partner!”

Selene blushed at the word “wife”. It was a little weird, coming from the man in her lap. But, when she looked at the rest, Attar's people, all had, wider than plates, round eyes.

Pandora: “Di-Did you say bonded?”

Attar: “Yes!”

Lily: “Are you sure?”

Eve answered instead.

Eve: “So have I, sisters!”

Pandora: “With Phil?”

Eve: “Yes!”

Lily: “H-How? I thought it was no longer possible!”

Attar: “I believe, I can answer that question!”

Pollux: “Stop! If it is, as you say, than you already know, what you must do. Don't you?”

Attar: “That's right! We can't stay here!”

Eve: “We shall leave in the morning.”

Selene froze.

Selene: “You are leaving me, again?”

Attar: “No, my dear. We, are all leaving. Your brothers, included. You are now, in more danger, than you were before. I'm sorry!”

Selene just hugged him.

Selene: “As long as, I am with you!”

Phil: “Well, I still don't understand what's going on, but, I have to ask. Is there any way, you can help my brothers? Heal them?”

Attar looked at Phil, then at Selene. Then smiled.

Attar: “I believe there is. But not here. And, there will be, a price to pay!”

Phil: “What is it?”

Attar: “Time! In order to help them, we will have to go into hiding, for a very, very long time. Can you do it? Can you say goodbye to all your friends? Never to see them again? Can you spend the next many years in hiding? Locked up somewhere hidden?”

Phil: “Yes! I already left behind my friends, when we left Petra. And my only family, is in this room.”

Attar: “Very well. We leave in the morning!”

Castor: “We'll escort you for a while.”

As Attar fell asleep next to Selene, Phil & Eve, also cuddled through the night, while Pandora & Lily, remained by their men's beds.
