"What did you do? " Mevis complained.
"I freed Air from her abusive masters. " I replied, Air beside me.
Mevis covered her face and complained some more. I asked her, "What did you think I was planning to do when you let me go? "
"I thought you would just talk to them! "
"Surprise? "
She tossed her hands in the air and paced around the living room. Air had taken a pen and paper.
She wrote: Am I being a bother?
"No. " Mevis muttered.
"Can you sign a contract with Air? " I asked.
Mevis stopped. "Wait, we can do that? "
"Yes. "
Perry had woken up from almost sleeping. He walked down to the living room and listened to Mevis' complaints. He sat down and thought for a little, he then asked, "Mevis, how about going to your mother? "
"Mom? You want us to go abroad? " Mevis complained.
"Yes. This city is not safe for you guys anymore. You three should go abroad, to where your mother is. "
After some more complaints, it was decided.
Before Mevis went to sleep, she signed a contract with Air. She had two Elementals under a contract, she also had a major drawback from doing that, passing out on the spot.
Air slept in my room, I just slept on the couch.
The next day, we got ready to leave, bringing the few belongings we had. Perry had to remain in the city, since he was a principal and all.
On the airplane, Air looked at me.
"What do you mean this is unfamiliar? Don't you usually fly around? " I asked.
Mevis looked at us from the window seat. She asked, "You can understand her? "
"Yes. " I told Mevis, then looked at Air. "So you're saying you feel safer flying on your own than in a vehicle? "
She nodded.
I started to relax, drifting to sleep.
There was soon screams. When I woke up, Air was sleeping and Mevis was looking concerned. There were men in masks shouting, pointing guns at people. I could not care less about it, trying to go back to sleep. That was when one of them came up to me and shouted, "Hey you, wake up! "
"Why? " I asked.
"Get up! We're taking all of you hostages! Get up! "
I put my finger to my lips, saying, "Can you quiet down? Some people are trying to sleep. "
