The thought of spending another 3 years in a rich private boring school made Damien's skin crawl and shivers to run down his spine. No way could he survive this.

And so he came up with this genius like idea. "Mom, dad, I thought about it and I believe that in order to understand the amm.. Average people in society, which I need if I want to take over father when he retire, I need to be exposed to them"

The raven boy smiles his shinny smile at the two who set in front of him completely confused, looking at each other trying to figure out what he tries to tell them.

"Sweetie I think it's great you want to study new things, mom supports you"

Damien's mouth corners almost reaching his ears at that point, making his dark brown eyes seem to disappear as they being swallowed in his slightly tanned skin color "good, so you see, I thought of applying to that public school that is kind of far away from home, love you glad to see you support my decision"

The two was completely shocked by the sudden announcement, Mr. Gent almost choked on his coffee when he heard those words, as Mrs. Gent felt her eyes watering up.

"What? P..public school? F-f-far from home? Why would you need that?" she raised her trembling voice as much as she could.

"Honey please calm down, Damien is that really what you want? Don’t you want to go to the same school as your friends or maybe a closer public school?" Mr. Gent said calmly as he caresses the beck of his crying wife.

Damien looked him straight in the eyes with confident "Dad I want to try this for real, if I stay close to you two I might find it too much for me not to rely on you two, please let me try"

Even though the boy's mouth convey a reasonable reason his mind knew better, in his head all he could hear was: please dad let me go and have my freedom, it will be useless if I stay back at home, let me go as far as one can think of PLEASE!
