"What do we do with this? " Mevis asked.
I looked at the tags and said, "It depends. What would be the best way to trick them? "
"Why? "
"This is not a contest of strength. It is a contest of wit. We need to trick them, keep their hands off our tags. " I explained. "We need to think this through. "
Mevis stood there, thinking.
I asked her, "Why are you so serious about this? You could just do this halfheartedly, letting them have Magic. "
She looked at me and told me, "I don't care about the Elemental. I just want to win. "
Air hugged her.
I looked at Air's face, then nodded. "Listen to this plan. Since the whole city is the battlefield, we could make it useful. "
And so the plan was set.
We went back home and rested for the day. Both sides had somehow agreed to take the first day easy.
The next day, I went out by myself, in a butler uniform. I went to a supermarket and looked at a few oranges. It was noisy around me when someone tapped my shoulder. I turned and asked, "Who is it? "
Water grinned and swung a punch at me.
I jumped back, the fruit section freezing over. People screamed and left the building. Water jumped over the shelves and kicked at me. I ducked, letting him fly past me. I swung a punch, flames trailing my movements. Water pointed at me. "Bang. "
A ball of water struck me squarely in the chest.
It ripped through me, the hole getting bigger for a moment before closing. I tapped the fruits sections, melting the ice and throwing a fireball at Water. He rose a wall of water, then proceeded with freezing it, pushing the wall in my direction.
I melted it, letting the water splash onto the ground. Water smiled at me and jumped, a trident appearing in his hands.
I stepped back and turned myself to flames, dispersing my body.
Water landed, stabbing the trident into ground. Water appeared everywhere, falling and splashing. I reformed, steaming, my clothes wet, a hole in it. Water whistled and said, "Now where did you keep your tag? "
I grinned and said, "Right here. Just so you know, I have all of them. "
"Easy win then. " Water sung and approached me.
