The children nod as they walk along the pathway Morgane noticing that yes there were many different tree types in the forest. They weren't all massive in height though, there were patches of smaller trees and Morgane asked a question about that to Aqua. “Why is it there is such a difference in height in the tree growth? We have never seen such a thing before, is it just age related?” Aqua pauses at one of the small groves of smaller trees, whose height tops out at maybe forty feet and answers Morgane, “yes and no. Also your world has at least one example of this the giant sequoia trees in your world are quite large. The larger trees are older, however not all of them start of large, see that sapling that is equal to the height of your knee? That is one of those that will grow into a large oak variety. While it's leaves might be very large the acorns while large actually have multiple small seeds in them. Think of an acorn on your world, now divide it into six pieces equally and that is how the acorns of these trees are formed” Morgane looks at the small sapling, in truth really a seedling, noting that it did look like just a seedling oak from back home.
They continue down the pathway towards the 'village' that Aqua was taking them to, they never saw a barrier and were suddenly among a grouping of what appeared to be wooden structures that mimicked the look of tree trunks. Morgane thinking back to some books she read as a child almost thought of them as 'Elven' construction. Aqua turns to her smiling, “yes Morgane very similar in how it describes how that mythological species constructs things.”
Aqua trails off as she sees a male, rather spindly looking male; in blue and purple colors swiftly heading in their direction. When the male stops in front of Aqua he makes a musical sound that reminds the children of the sound and feel of a still lake in the middle of a serene woods that contained sun warmed water. “How dare you dress those humans in those colors and bring them here that way it is an insult to all of us.” Aqua notes the expression on the children's faces and then answers the male, “because I was told to by the Elder. It was his decision that I offer the children those garments while we are sharing with them. Next time you should ask him yourself.” Then Aqua makes a musical sound that reminded the children of the sound and feeling of very cold, almost icy water in a high mountain stream at the start of the spring thaw as it rushed down the mountain.
Before the pair could argue more Triton quickly speaks in Japanese, “I beg your pardon. I now understand why she has told us there is no translations for your names into our language, I humbly beg your forgiveness for not having a way to address you properly honored Sir.” Then he bows in reverence to the male, probably a big deeper than Yu would say is appropriate; but it tells Morgane how much gaining that knowledge affected Triton. Especially since he used the high court dialect from what she could hear. The male looked stunned and Aqua looked a little smug, and Morgane noticed other 'people' working around the 'village' who were taking sly looks at them trying to not appear to be doing so. Morgane noted everyone in the village either had red or blue colors with the purple, but not the colors they were wearing.
The male then shakes himself slightly and looks at Morgane, “is this one the warrior? Considering the issue that is a bad sign you know, best take them to the Elder before you start something from their garb.” The male then walks off in what could be translated as a teen aged huff. Aqua still looking amused spoke to Triton, “thank you. You did exactly as you should have, I am also glad you all figured out the mystery with our personal names. Also why you see there really is no actual translation for them, though I have to admit Aqua is an amusing attempt.” The children just nod their heads as Aqua leads them to a 'house' that was a lighter color than the other, perhaps from age. Then leads them inside it, inside is a very old male of Aqua's species his fur a snow white color and the tips of his ears drooped slightly; but his eyes were bright and looked amused. Morgane could also tell that this 'old one' as she would not call him anything but; was covered in muscle. He must have been some warrior at one time, I hope it is not to trying to have to let younger people do the fighting. Morgane could hear a deep chuckle in her mind then, why thank you my dear for thinking so kindly of an old person. Morgane looked shocked and Aqua comments, “don't be surprised Morgane. As I have answered your thoughts a few times and it is not very difficult to speak via the mind if one is so inclined. However most speak aloud out of politeness, I imagine what ever the Elder wished to say was only meant for you otherwise he would have said aloud. Aqua then jabs at the Elder who catches her hand chuckling, “but of course; otherwise you'd have heard me. Now I have a question for you three before I explain anything. Based on the 'encounter' you just had when you entered the village, and yes I did hear it. What do you suppose is our biggest problem?” Without thinking Morgane just blurts out the answer.
“You have no children.”
