The sole heir of a billion dollar company....

I was appointed new CEO by my father Mr. Ronald Gregory Stevenson Chairman of Queens chains of hotel and casinos. It is not my passion but since am the sole heir I need to learn all the facetes of our company. I love power and money I don't go second best. Perfection is my way for success.

Music is my true passion am into sessions for guitar and drum playing gigs in New York. Maybe I inherited it to my grandfather mom's dad.

Though music plays a big part of me I still pursued taking business in my college years I also finished my masters degree in business management.

Today will be my first day as CEO of Queens hotel and Casino the biggest hotel chain in America and Canada.

I was briefly introduced to my Executive Managers and Senior Managers. I am glad to have a foundation in this business my father started. This is his dream his legacy.

As a perfectionist I immersed myself to all departments of my hotel. Front Office, Housekeeping, Back Office, Casino Operations as well as the F&B which is one of the weaknesses of our hotel.

A month after....

I had my secretary Ruby to call the Senior Manager for Food & Beverage Mr. Jack Thompson he has been in the company since it started so basically he is as old as my father.

Ruby knocked on my door. "Come in" I said.

"Sir, Mr. Thompson is here" .

"Let him in"

"Robert! what a pleasure to see you he uttered."

"Mr. Thompson, uhhmm..Uncle please have a seat.I have something to discuss with you."

"What is it son?"he is like a family calling me in first name is not a big deal even am the new CEO.

"I just got the F&B performance for the past 3 years and as you can see it has been declining over the years. I am so alarmed that one of this days our Restaurants and Room Service will be in the red line". I said to him.

"Well yes son, it has been our problem since our renowned executive chef retired 2 years ago while his replacements had been in and out and until now we haven't got a perfect replacement for him to configure our menu offerings and services we opted to hire consultants but still the decline is evident up to this date." He honestly discussed.

" I've also discussed this the the Executive Manager as well as your father every board meeting." He added.

I sighed to his statements,." Well if that's the case I think we should look for strong candidates all over the state am also willing to hire Expat if needed".

"Can we ask someone to do a research of the top Chefs in the metro and from there lets filter the best among the best suits to be the next Executive for our hotels. I am willing to offer more than our previous offer."

"Alright," he said,

"I will ask my team to do this research in no time will just let Ruby your secretary know if we already have the list".

"Will go ahead, your father will visit today You might want to greet him."

"Oh I will try I still have appointments today have a great day uncle". I said as I bid him goodbye.

Though uncle Thompson is not the best in the industry his contribution in the success of expanding the business and his loyalty to my dad is beyond expectation. That's why he is still in the position he is now.

Flashback a year ago....

I often hop from restaurant to restaurant. I guess taking women to a place like makes me get to know them. Am not the type of man just go fuck around women and sleep with each of them though many people labeled me as a playboy...

One Friday, I agreed seeing Amanda a brunette girl whom I acquainted from one of my gigs. She's pretty but just like any other woman she looks like just after money... We met at one of the Bistro of our hotel competitor The Linden Hotel am curious who runs their kitchen since they are bragging to have a Michelin star chef which is not common to be a lady. I arrived a bit later than Amanda, and as usual I looked snobbish and firm hiding being curious with the place.

I sat down and called the waiter and told him to start serving the dishes. Not long after he started serving our first course...

"Good Evening Mr. Stevenson here is your starter our Chef prepared for you tonight Crab Cakes with sharp and sweet green salad best paired with our Riesling". He said...

Amanda and I started digging our plates... It is delicious I said the back of my head I need to meet this Lady Chef. Hiding my delight...I didn't smile I just smirk...

Next, we were served with a french plate and it was surprising since it was very rare to have a place that serves western cuisine in this state, neither my own hotel has the audacity to include it in our menu being delicate in all aspects of gastronomy...

Now my senses heightens to really meet the chef...

I took my first bite and true enough with my high expectation it was Impeccable! The flavors are blasting in my tongue.

I was not able to talk to Amanda since we started eating the salad and still when we had main course.....

I cleared by mouth with my napkin and asked Amanda if she needs anything... She smiled and whispered to my ear... I hope I also have a taste of you... She said. I didn't answer her instead I called our waiter and ask if the Chef could see us in our table.

Just a minute so, an Ash brown haired curvaceous lady arrived.

I know it even she is wearing a Chef's jacket she has a blushing cheeks I didn't expected her to be looking like.....She has long lashes, thin pink lips, shinning hazel brown eyes with a perfect brow. Her cheeks naturally blushing. She's tall but not as tall as me.

Ohhh..... what was happening to me... Hiding my amusement seeing her. I didn't greet her nicely but instead I uttered..

"Is this all you've got.?" . I myself was surprised what the hell slipped in my devious tongue. I saw her face turns pale and was astound.

"My apologies if the food I prepared was not in your liking I could still prepare another dish that you prefer." She uttered with disappointment.

I can't take back what I said, am not apologetic type of a man. I just let it be I just smirked which I was good at, Sadly.

" Can you just prepare me a simple steak" I asked.

Then she went back to the kitchen and looking back at me. My eyes followed her looking at her ass. This girl has really something... I am disappointed with my gestures earlier but I can't take it back. Am a Stevenson after all.

After several minutes the waiter served the steak and not long after was the dessert.

Everything is sumptuous even the Chef who prepared this. My mind started to think about her....

I was not in myself after I saw this beautiful chef of this bistro I would definitely go back and see her.

Amanda in the other hand, tapped my shoulder and ask if everything is alright I nod and let her talk about herself. Still thinking about how beautiful the lady chef.

The night went on and it's time to go home. I lead Amanda to the parking lot slid her into her car and bid to her goodbye.

I sat down in my range rover and waited to see if the lady chef is still in bistro. As expected she arrived in the parking lot.

She'swearing just a tank top and a fitted jeans. She is oozing with sexy features.

She has a perfect body! better looking compared in her jacket earlier.

I watched her enter her Camry smiling as she drove away from the parking lot. I also headed home.

God I didn't got her name.... Frustrated
