Robert's P.O.V

Tonight is my last night playing for stereo 27.

Atleast only for now.

I have decided to help father in running his businesses. Queen's Hotel and Hylo's Corporation.

It saddens me, but I have to do my obligations being the only son of my parents.

"Guess this is it.! " Sam gives me a brotherly hug.

George put his arms in my shoulders, "It'll be only for now. I'm sure you'll miss the gigs." He said.

"Yeah ofcourse once I've settled will find time to play again. I just can't disappoint Dad, He is not getting any younger." I replied.

"Don't worry man we understand!" Bruno mentioned.

We all laughed when we heard Bruno's comment. He doesn't talk to much. But he is definitely a good guy and can be trusted.

We all knew each other since college. We do perform in college fairs back then. And after we graduated we've decided to do some gigs around New York. Though we came from rich families we opted to do names for ourselves.

Hilda the bar manager came to us. "Hi Robert! I heard it's going to be your last night to play for us.?" she said.

"Yeah well our big guy here will be the most powerful CEO in New York on Monday!" Sam mocked as he chuckles.

"Stop it Sam! I warned.

I look back at Hilda and responded." I will be back though will just settle things with my Dad's company."

"That's good to hear you're welcome to go back anytime your fans will surely miss you."She mentioned.

You'll be up any minute now let's have just catch up later guys. Hilda said as she left.

I noticed Bruno was looking at Hilda the whole time like he saw an angel from heaven.

Sam being the nosy snapped his finger infront of Bruno's eyes.

"tsk tsk tsk.... Somebody's having a day dream he chuckled....

Bruno took a deep breath and scratched his head smilling.

" Why don't you tell her that you liked her.?" George suggested.

He just shook his head and said it's not the right time he mumbled.

"And when will be the right time then?" Sam smirked humourlessly.

"Let him be you two!." I told the guys tapping Bruno's shoulders.

Sam and George whispering with each other as we walk going up the stage. Bruno and I just had a high five.

We then started. We had this longer than our usual gigs. I was focused on playing and limit my glances in the audience. I could hear them sing along.

Our first set was finished. I went off the stage heading to the main bar to grab a mug of beer. As I walk, a lady accidentally bumped into me and almost fell. Fortunately I was able to grab her back resting in my arms. My eyes met hers as I smirked. Our eyes were locked she bit her lip she was nervous she started to blush.

She immediately stood and said thank you and went straight to the ladies restroom the lady is no other than the Chef, Cathelyn..

I shook my head my gaze followed her until she reached the restroom.

I felt hot when I her held her in my arms. Her brown eyes is very seductive, she is stunning probably the sexiest among  I've ever laid my eyes on.

She is more beautiful from the last time I saw her. It's been a year, and almost forget what I did to her. I was hoping to make it up to her.

At the bar, I saw Sam talking to some lady. I just smiled to them and grabbed my beer walking back in the artist lounge having the thoughts of her in my mind.

We started our second set. As was hoping she will jam with us. But I hid my excitement seeing her again.

Sam then announced. "Whoah guys I think there is a great singer that is here with us tonight I heard her once and believe me she's a pro!"

" May we call on Ms. Cathelyn Hart on stage!?" He added.

The crowd is cheering as she went up the stage. I couldn't remove my eyes on her. She stood beside Sam and whispered the song she'd sing.

Sam then told the rest of us she'll sing zombie of the cranberries. I nodded in agreement.

All the time she was on stage my gaze didn't leave he imagining her sitting on my lap...

I took a deep breath cocking my head watching her sing. She is on fire!

The crowd sings along with her raising their glasses. She's natural.

A huge clap from the crowd and some shouting more more more... But she already got off the stage.

She then go back to their table. seeing her friends very delighted exchanging their high fives.

Our second set was finished and my last gig nearly comes to end. I heaved out of sigh.

I felt tremendously cold, I felt a bit nervous.

Maybe because it is my first time to end something I love.

We started our third set it's already 12mn. Am delighted to see Cathleyn is still in the bar. She was with her friends. laughing. I noticed her gazing at me. I smiled at her.

The crowd was wild and many of them are drunk as hell. But everyone turns silent when they suddenly heard my voice .

"You know you guys are awesome. playing music infront of you gives me true happiness." I said. Everyone was clueless of what's going on.

" This will be my last time that I will be playing for you."I announced."

The crowd were agape of what they've heard. No one is moving from their seats even the waiters and bartenders were in shocked about my announcement.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone, my band mates, you guys are truly the best. To Stereo 27 family thank you for the wonderful years playing for you. To all our fans and friends Thank you! This song is for all of you." I said.

I played a solo guitar piece" Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin.

It was so silent, I felt the audience appreciation in my music. I got a standing ovation. George, Sam and Bruno gave me a brotherly hug.

I took my final bow...

I wasn't able to Cathelyn after we went off the stage.

All the staff and crew of Studio 27 gave we a farewell party until dawn. My gratitude is beyond words...
