I'm enjoying my life as the new CEO of Queens Hotel. Am almost finished with all my departments immersion.

I got to know most of the employees and had a feel of how they do in their everyday responsibilities running the operations.

It made me understand more the core of our business and am now in the process of making it better.

It is now exactly two months after I joined the hotel and I guess my honeymoon stage is finally over. Executing my plans is slowly taking place.

I remembered my discussion with uncle Harley to address the issue about the Food and Beverage Department.

And today, he will discuss to me the candidates for the new post as Corporate Executive Chef.

Unlike before, We had just had  dedicated Chef per property which I feel was the loophole why some properties had low productivity and some are almost not profitable.

But now to make it more synchronized we will open again the position that was not filled many years ago. We opted to have one person that will lead and unite all the Chefs across all properties and will make the business regain it glory in the hotel industry.

Ruby called in the intercom telling Uncle Harley would like to see me. I responded to let him in.

Good morning son! I brought the list our head hunters had provided" he proactively said.

" Good morning uncle" Let's start then. I enthusiastically responded.

I am excited to see this not only because am fond of it, but  I was hoping to find Cathelyn's profile in the list.

Uncle Harley placed the folders in center of the conference table. He had about 10 to 12 profiles.

We both scanned and discuss each candidate.

They are all qualified. Some had numerous years of experience, some had almost traveled the world as they progressed their profession. But none of them was Cathelyn.

My face had a frown , I told uncle the candidates are not what we are looking at.

"What exactly are you looking for Robert?" uncle asks with a confused look at his face.

I ju.. Just don't think the candidates can cope with our pace... No offense to you uncle but majority of them are too old... I was just thinking that their ideas were to outdated I guess???.... I commented.

"Oh I got it son let me take a quick call I guess I know what exactly you what." He said.

He dialed the number of the head hunter. I went back to my desk to check on my phone.

"Yes, I understand. Thank you, " he ended his call, looking up at me and smiled. 

"We have 2 more candidates the person I called will send the profiles to Ruby now so we could check. But son, I was informed that this candidates is more expensive and is currently not in practice." He explained

Not long after I heard a knock. "Come in" I said.

"Mr. Stevenson, Mr. Thompson here is the email attachment from Vexana head hunters." Ruby put down the papers on the table and left.

Uncle Harley opened the two files he smirked.

"Looks like we found what we need."

I looked at it and saw Cathelyn's name in one of  the profile. I smiled.

"Yeah I guess uncle you are right we found her."

"Her? he questioned.

" Yes uncle this one" holding Cathelyn's folder.

"Oh I was mentioning the other one" He sighed.

"Why not, we invite both for an interview so we can decide who to hire? He stated. I guess we need to talk to them first since they didn't apply in the first place. He added.

I nodded in agreement.

" Can you please leave the documents here with me  first uncle? " I want to study them.

I requested.

"Sure thing!  will just keep in touch with Vexana to arrange a meeting with our candidates will tell Ruby to take it from here. He said as he turns away leaving my office.

" Thanks uncle." I answered back.

I was so delighted seeing Cathelyn's paper. I will make sure she will get the job I grinned.

I sat back on my chair and read her file.

She is impressive! I don't think anyone amongst the other candidates is compared to her achievements. She's what I am looking for young, relevant and Uughhh... I just want her.

I called a good friend, Roger he is a private investigator. I asked him to investigate more about Cathelyn her where abouts, her family and her past. I want to know everything about her.

I received a forwarded message from uncle Harley thru Ruby. "Candidates for interview will be scheduled on 15th of March 10 o' clock am.

I called Ruby in the intercom and told her to vacate all meetings for March 15 date. I will attend the interview.

Playing the pen in my finger, I imagined Cathelyn, kissing my lips, as she release a soft moan, Thrusting my tough into her mouth and she bit my lower lip.

I shook my thoughts immediately...

I sprang up in my chair I felt my cock twitched having a thoughts of her.

I honestly like her. I want more of her.

I decided to leave my office early and drove to Sam's apartment.

I arrived in his place for about 15 minutes.

I rang the doorbell.

Ding dong, Ding dong.

"Just a minute" a male voice shouted.

It was Sam who opened the door.

"What a surprise man!" he said. Isn't the new CEO busy at this hour? " he mocks.

" I need to tell you something, remember the lady who jammed during my last gig in the bar?" I said.

" Well yeah ofcourse, that lady is one of a kind." He interjected.

"She was a chef I met a year ago even before she jammed to us. I Narrated," I wanted to hire her for our hotel." But she didn't know yet am the CEO." I added.

"What seems to be the problem it's just hiring a personnel, I mean its normal. He commented.

"I think I like her. I want her not just an employee." I confessed. She keeps running in my head for several days and am imagining her beyond my control.

"Looks like Mr. CEO was in love" ... He teased.

"Are you afraid that she doesn't accept the offer once she knows that she will be working for you? He asked handing a can of beer.

" Yes am afraid so," I replied.

" But I really want to start something with her and if being her my employee will be the only way I need that to make it happen. I said worriedly.

" Why don't you give her an offer she couldn't resist?" He uttered.

" Like a higher salary double or triple her current salary, a new car or a free residential suite in your hotel?" He suggested.

The idea is actually brilliant... Hiring her is beneficial to my company and the compensation is irresistible that no one can turn down. It is also my advantage that Queen is the most sought after hotel in New York working for us is not only an opportunity but a prestige.

After several hours of conversing with Sam. I bid my goodbye.

"Thanks man!  will visit you at the bar one of this days. I said.

" Anytime" he scoffed.

I left his apartment and went home.
