sometimes it rains

and the teardrops

mixed with pain

fall from our eyes

there are times

when it’s too cold

and we say we’re fine

with a frozen heart

there are days

when it’s warm with the sun’s rays

behind us are melted worries

and the brightest smiles on our face

and when finally

the weather’s just right

we ask ourselves

will it rain?
