I wake up to the summer sun shining in my eyes.

All the blood hazed into a warm summer glow, as I regain consciousness once more from a horrid reality I’ve lived through.

My daily morning routine is met by a set of red and gold armor with a jade necklace.

Which started the day as I walk out of my room to pay for my stay.

As I am about to leave town, I look into an alley and see two thieves mugging a civilian.

Seems there is a stick up happening over there.

I'll let them off if they stop doing it this instant.

I walk over to the thugs.

“I’m gonna give the both of you the chance to leave this citizen alone.” I say to the thieves.

The thieves turn around to face me and they both charge at me.

I guess I'm gonna engage in combat with the trash then.

The plump thief attempts to stab me with his dagger, but I grab his dagger holding arm and break it.

An audible crack is heard, after that comes his wails of agony.

The thin thief attempts to stab me too and I exclaim “if it didn’t work for the first guy what makes you think that it will work for you!?”

I pick up the unconscious thief, I huff and groan because of his plump structure and throw him at the crook.

Both are unconscious and broken now it is time to hit the road.

The sun is shining bright along the valley, the wind is a slight breeze but my instincts are telling me that something is off.
