With Vera busy on her computer I finally got the courage to call Stephan and I knew exactly what I was going to talk about.

Firstly I would say thank you to him for giving me his number then I would talk about Vera and mention that she was my cousin.

*ring ring*

Here we go

The phone rang a couple of times and it made me anxious. Maybe I wasn't calling at the right time but according to my girl's weekly blog the perfect time to make a call was right after supper time.

"Hello, this is Macy and how may I help you today"?

The sound of a strange woman's voice on the other end wasn't what I was expecting to hear.

"I'm looking for Stephan?" I said 

"Stephan just left with the crew. Are you by chance someone he recruited because our club has been looking for more members?" she asked

I felt my face get hot. I was so embarrassed. to think that Stephan gave me the volunteer clubs number and not his own personal number made me feel so stupid.

"Yes" I replied "I wanted to join your club"

"Perfect then can I have your name, number and if possible your email address"

After thirty minutes of going through the sign-up process, I finally got some good news

"So that's it for today and ill see you on Wednesday when you come in for your orientation with Stephan" 

"Thank you" I replied then screamed with excitement

Maybe me joining this club won't be so bad. After all, I get to spend more time with Stephan.
