Zack pulled out his phone checked where a library is. Luckily, there is only one library, and judging by the picture of the place, it is huge. Zack found the location of this library and went downstairs. The map on his phone said that it is about a 30 minute walk to get there. Zack thought to himself ‘ It would be faster if I take my motorcycle.’ He grabbed his keys off the key holder on the wall. He opened the door, that is right next to the kitchen and went into the garage. He pulled off the tarp that was once on his motorcycle. He saw his leather jacket laying on a couple of boxes that are stacked on each other, grabbed his jacket, and put it on. Zack grabbed his helmet and his motorcycle gloves and put them on. He then started to walk the motorcycle out of the garage. Zack looked again at the map on his phone and put his phone in his jacket pocket. He got on the motorcycle and started it. That when he heard a ding from his phone. He took his phone out and read the text.
“ Sorry that I didn’t text back. I was busy with my family. I have some free time now, so where do you want to meet? Oh, by the way, this is Liam. If you didn’t know that.”
Zack smiled and texted back. “ We can meet at the library. I was just leaving to go there.”
“Ok, cool. I will be there in 30 minutes. Bye.” Zack put his phone back in his jacket pocket and speed away on his motorcycle.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zack parked the motorcycle right next to the steps leading to the library. The library looked just like the library from Seattle. He used to spend every weekend there. There were some big words on the library. The words were in gold, they say ‘Goldcrest Library’. They named the library after the town. Zack took off his helmet and gloves. He put the helmet on his motorcycle and placed his gloves in his shoulder bag. Zack walked up the steps to the building and opened the big doors. Inside the library is the complete opposite of the outside. There were some big stairs in the back of the room leading to the next floor. It looked like there are 5 floors to the library. There is an old fashion candle chandelier hanging from the ceiling. There is a long table in the middle of the room with two people working. The walls are lined with bookcases, filled with all sorts of books.
Zack’s phone buzzed. It was from the anonymous person again.‘Ask for Ben. He works there. Tell him Quiet Liberty. He’ll know what to do’.
The moment he read the message over again it deleted itself. Zack looked around and there he saw a desk in a corner overflowing with paper. Zack walked over and he could see an old man behind all the paper. Zack said, “Excuse me, sir?”. The man looked up startled, he knocked over a pile of papers that was on the edge of the table. The old man started picking them up. “Oh, sorry. Let me help you with this.” Zack said while bending down and helping the old man pile the papers back on the desk.
“Thank you. What did you want?” The old man raised his eyebrow.
Now looking at him Zack could see that he is wearing rim horned glasses and a black vest that has a key sewed into it on his right shoulder. “I was told to find a man called Ben”.
“Well, you’re in luck. I’m Ben”.
“I was told to tell you ‘Quiet Liberty’”. Ben went to his desk and opened a drawer, he pulled out a notepad and a pen. When he was down scribbling down something he got up and handed it to Zack. The note said ‘5th floor, in the very back.’ When Zack looked up the old man left. Zack walked up the stairs to the 5th floor. He went to the very back and found one bookshelf full of red books. Right next to the bookshelf seems to be a lounge area but there is nobody on this floor. Zack looked down at the note and read the lines again. When he moved closer to the bookcase he felt drawn to a certain book in the middle. He moved his hand down the book but when he pulled the top of the book he heard a clicking noise. Then the bookshelf moved a little bit outward. He pulled on the bookshelf and it moved enough for him to see inside. When he went in the bookshelf shut itself, selling him in the darkroom. When he turned around the light turned on, there was a door with a crystal nob for a handle. When he turned around again, he could see stairs leading up. When Zack reached the top and opened a door he was in a large room. There were paintings on the ceiling and bookcases on the walls. There is a gigantic globe in the middle of the room and a telescope at the end looking at the stars from the window. There is one chair and a stand right next to the bookshelf. The phone buzzed again and the text reads “Look for the book called ‘Secrets of the Forest’. Zack looked around and there is a little winding stair leading upstairs. ‘This is going to take forever.’ He thought to himself.
