With the two divine gifts bestowed, humanity entered a new age of prosperity.
Divine energy allowed rapid development despite the setback from the war. The God’s Pact prevented wars and maintained the peace.
Although divine beings monitored every corner of the world, they did not interfere with worldly affairs. This showed that they gave humanity a certain independence.
However, there was a variable that humanity had not anticipated, even within all these extraordinary occurrences. The divine beings had stopped interfering with humanity for thousands of years, which meant there were new gods and goddesses that were unknown to humanity. They were born during the time when humanity and the gods were separated.
These new gods and goddesses were eager to interact with humanity about which they had heard a great deal. They also wanted to prove that they were not inferior to the ancient divine beings.
It was now fifteen years since humanity was saved from the brink of extinction, the year 15 N.A (New Age).
Atop the Everest, where hundreds of flags lay in a pile, there was a man who was sitting cross-legged. A simple glance upon the man would allow anyone to see that it was a god.
The sheer intensity of his gaze and the divine energy he radiated was enough to ignite the flags into flames and melt the snow around him. His irises were multi-coloured, like a rainbow dancing in his eyes.
He had a perfectly trimmed beard and short spiky black hair. His body was that of a seasoned warrior, toned muscles, and old scars. He was wearing a strange outfit, a red and gold hakama*, and a black cloak over it.
Suddenly, the man smiled, revealing perfectly white teeth. It was a smile full of satisfaction, for he had seen something that he desired since the God’s Pact was created fifteen years ago.
