I don’t regret what happened with Roman last night. But the way he acted after that was a little cold. Like sure he took care of me but there wasn’t any emotional connection.

I thought I would sleep in his arms and wake up to him kissing me or bringing me food or saying something sweet.

But I woke up in an empty bed and his side was cold like he wasn’t there at all so maybe he slept somewhere else.

I took a shower and got dressed with the same outfit I wore yesterday but I had one of Roman’s shirts since I won’t be able to go back home and change and I can’t wear what Monica put in the bag for me.

I didn’t see Aiden or Roman when I woke up but I met their house keeper Julia she was a nice lady.

I’m sitting at the kitchen right now and she was cooking breakfast. “Mr. Clark didn’t mention you dear that’s why I was surprised when I saw you” she smiled.

“I like him.. and now I want to get closer to him to know him better than anyone” I said shyly making her smile.

“if you show him that you will get what you want” she took a sip of her tea and I ate the French toast she made for me. I moaned at the taste.

“you can move here and taste her cooking everyday” Roman said behind me and I turned around seeing him in a short and a shirt. He was sweaty so I guess he was out jogging.

I thought I won’t see him today so seeing him here in front of me made me smile. “morning sir” I got up and hugged him.

“are you okay Julia?” I asked her when I sat back down “I can take you to the hospital if you are feeling sick?” I frowned.

“I’m going to take a shower” Roman said and I frowned. I wanted to spend some time with him before he leaves. I need to go back to work today.

“sir wait you should eat with me first” I blushed and added French toast to my plate. Julia smiled and walked out.

He chewed on it as I ate a piece. That’s how we finished the food. he thanked me and I smiled.

“do you meant it when you said that I should move here?” I got up and washed the plate. The least I could do after eating.

“just think about it” he said and left to take a shower. Of course I need to think about it I need to talk with my family and Monica first before making any decision.

AFTER TWO DAYS

“I guess I should go now” the guy said and I shook my head. I don’t know if I can sit with Roman after what I just saw.

But I know that I can’t leave him with this guy alone so If this guy thinks he can sit on Roman’s lap then I’ll show him what I can do with Roman.

I walked to the desk putting the food on it. “oh the food is enough for all of us you can join us” I said and wrapped my arms around Roman’s neck.

“I thought I was the only one who can handle Roman” Zach wrapped his arm around Roman’s waist.

“the way I handle him is different than how you do it since you’re just a friend” I shrugged and he gave me a fake a smile.

“well yeah of course I will be different I have known him for fourteen years” he pulled away from Roman. “anyway I have something to do bye” he kissed Roman on the cheek and left.

“don’t be jealous” Roman said and sat on his chair. What? I can’t really control how I feel and I might be jealous for no reason but still.

I got up and opened the door a little as the music that was playing in the gym could be heard in his office.

I changed my clothes to leggings and a crop top. I went and helped my mom with the food and after an hour the food was done. She made a lot of food.

“we will see how you both act when you like someone” I said as my mom took my plate to fill it with food.

“that if you actually last with my dad” Aiden mumbled if his voice was a little lower I might not have heard him but I did.

I looked at Roman and he was glaring at Aiden. I guess everyone heard that. since my parents were frowning and Lila was looking at me.

“Aiden out with me..” he growled and looked at my parents “ excuse us for a little” he said and stood up.

“Roman it’s fine he is a kid I understand why he said that” I continued “maybe it’s not easy for him you know..”.

Roman sighed and walked out anyway. I told Aiden to stay inside and I followed Roman.

He looked at me. “Roman come inside he is only a kid he might find it hard that you are dating someone right now” I rubbed his shoulder.

“Elijah don’t interfere with the way I handle my son” he pulled away and I frowned.

“I’m moving to your house this weekend.. I’ll take care of Aiden too Roman so I don’t want you to be hard on him especially now since he is here” I said and he looked at me nodding.

“I’ll tell Julia to make the guest room ready for you” he said and walked inside.

I didn’t talk about me moving with him with anyone yet but I guess now it’s too late. But the guest room? I thought I’d be sleeping with him.

I frowned and followed him inside. I just need some time, then I’d be in his room.
