The Dark Temple guardian wished he had physical form at the moment so he could scowl. The newcomer to the temple was of a kind of dark mage that the guardian was unfortunately all too familiar with. This one was one who had not truly earned his power. He was a mere student who had never even challenged, much less killed, another dark mage. And that kind of display of power, that desire, was vital for a proper dark mage.
