Lina moaned as something wet splashed her face which was extremely cold. Who the hell throw water at me? She thought.
She fluttered her eyes open, "Was I dreaming?" Lina mumbled softly as she adjusted her surroundings.
"No, darling I believe you fainted." a husky voice spoke, sounding amused.
Once she faced the same man she met on the dark, each thread of golden hair on his head fell perfectly framing his tanned face. Black tattoos and weird patterns glued on his well-defined muscles with his half naked-chest. His eyes were blue, the blueish shade that she'd ever seen the same as the dark sea.
The inhumane appearance that he had cat-looking ears and wore pants but something was behind him-it was a tail same with the cat though he approximately 6'3 feet tall, which is towering over my small frame.
Lina bit her lips, she didn't know this is the pet where Harley told her to tame for. Hell! She didn't know if he was faking those ears and tails which was so extraordinary.
Unexpectedly, she was grabbed by her collar by the strange cat-looking man, and little later, he slammed her down roughly on the ground.
"So, this is Harley brought me? Highly disappointing.. Here, I thought I would get a challenge. But a female trainer? Ha! Such a weakling! Let's see if she could handle me by herself ." He kneels down at her looking up and down.
Lina couldn't help but give him a glare to the male.
"Ohh fiesty. Sounds interesting." he raised his eyebrows.
Lina takes a deep breath to calm her nerves and say, "I don't know who the hell you are, but you must leave this place. If you're the pet that Harley talked about then, please kindly take the meal on the table that I had prepared for you. "
"Don't you ever dare to call me by that dreaded name. I'm not listening to you because I'm not a pet. Nor, anyone slave." He snarled at her, looking pissed. He stepped her neck to choke her.
Lina coughed and glare at him even more, "I'm sorry I've never treated you like that, please let me go!" she cursed when he grabbed her hairs fistly.
"Wow, I've never met someone so pathetic like you." he dropped her down and walks to the table and take the meal.
"Though, your meal isn't that bad." he sniffed and dug in.
Lina made relief and clutched her neck that was paining. Damn, I've never met someone such a psycho.
Crack.
A sound of broken plates fell on the floor.
And a dog bowl, placed in front of her.
"You eat that!" he smirked and then, left.
Lina pushed the dog bowl slightly and puffed her cheeks. Seriously?
I'm not eating that! Who did he think he is?
I'm the fucking owner.
She glanced at the mess on the floor and grumbled.
Oh well, I can do this. Lina you can do this! She repeated herself.
As her stomach growled, she walks up on the kitchen to get some meal. Her face sank when there's no meal any left.
Oh c'mon. I cooked it and it was my perfect meal. Lina gives up and walks up on the fridge to grab some milk and bread just to fill her stomach. She doesn't have any mood to cook another.
Where she finds her way to her bedroom, a man's snore coming from her bed as if he owns everything.
She slammed the door shut and moved to the next room and slept.
She sank herself on the bed and sighed softly. She's thinking about what to do with him tomorrow. She's gonna try being strict as if he was a child.
For now, I need a night of beauty sleep.
She closed her eyes.
