As she walked through the hallway, her instincts kept telling her that someone is following her as she turns to see the person but found no one. Subconsciously, it made her frown when she decided to turn around back, facing her way but found herself collided into something hard. Lina lifted her head to see beautiful green eyes locked into hers; it was the same man who carried her earlier to the palace. He wore the same dress in the black waistcoat with a black-masked, mostly covering his entire face, aside from his eyes. White gloves coated his hands, making her wonder why. The blue ribbon bow near his neck was more appealing; it makes to think her to think that he was a butler.

"It's you.." she gasped, looking at him in awe.

"Your Highness summons you on his throne, Miss." he bowed at her.

She nodded and followed him.

Lina noticed his tail tinted with an orange hue, swaying as if it was dancing in front of her.

He moved like a real cat. Well, it's a Cat World, after all. Lina said in her thoughts, bitterly.

The poor man felt a pair of eyes burying his back; he took a small glance sidely, seeing the girl looking at his tail, making him stiff uncomfortably. Soon, the girl shifted her eyes on her surroundings, when she saw a garden as they passed by, it made her gasp in awe; the man chuckled at her astonished face and continued to move forward. Hearing the man take another step, the girl who stands in frozenly; snapped back on the reality and followed his pace.

Finally, they arrived at the big golden doors to the throne hall. The man who dressed in black knocked on the door twice; after then, he pushed them onwards, reviling an ancient, dark throne.

She heard something smashed, revealing broken shards on the carpet; she saw many men lying on the ground, seemingly bathing its blood. Lina saw it, the silver cat with its crown on his head, his emotionless fixed to the dead people on the ground, revealing a mighty robust aura. The man's character before her gave her a feeling of danger. It was a horrific sight, but the butler moved his way in front of me, kindly blocked the dead bodies.

"Your Highness, we have arrived." The butler broke the silence and made a bow to His Highness.

Lina awkwardly stood behind the butler.

"Good." The silver cat, lighten his mood a bit. When he saw her, the dress suits her perfectly; however, its long fabric covering her whole arms, not even showing a single skin. The silver cat frowned because of it; her unique carelessness suits her taste. But he's not giving up from stopping him from doing what he wants. He gave her a wave to welcome her, drawing a feature to come to his side carefully.

Lina takes a glance at the butler, which his response her back with a nod, signaling her to go; therefore, she makes her way towards him. Abruptly, his strong arms lifted her from the ground, pulling her onto his lap. Lina stiffened, not daring a glance to the highness.

This feels so wrong.

"You're surprisingly behave this time, Pet." His breath tickled her ear, sniffing her neck. After that, the silver cat touched her chin, forcing her to face him. Emotionless golden eyes have set on hers. Lina avoided his eyes, feeling a little disgusted, pretending nothing happened. She doesn't have a choice, though. Her intention in escaping right this time is too risky. As much as she wants to ignore him, she let him grip her chin to do what he wants. As he leaned closer, Lina couldn't help anymore and pushed his chest as she tries to leave; he gripped her wrist tightly. How dare he? Lina feels his aura turned dark, which only makes her grew more scared.

Before she was about to yell at him, a loud booming sound voice interrupted us, echoing around the palace. That made us stop for a while. The man was dressed in black, barged into the court that caught our attention.

"Your Highness!!" the black-cloaked figure bowed at him, panting heavily. The silver cat raised his eyebrow at him, as he made a gesture at him to move forward.

Soon after, it was followed by another five cloaked figures with various strange symbols marked on their chests. Their cloaks painted the colour of silky white, trimmed with gold. Silvery threads embroidered patterns onto the cloth, making them domineering and formidable.

Lina stared cautiously at them, and she couldn't read them at all. All of their faces were shadowed by their cloaks as it covered with a golden mask and wore a mysterious dark aura around them.

"He came back. The Dark Lord is here; however, he seems to search for someone!" The black figure kneeled down in front of us.

"And who might it be?" He gritted his teeth.

The black figure with a black mask fixed his gaze towards me and said, "Her."

Everyone shifted their heads towards me.

Lina gulped.
