The sky was gloomy, as the clouds slowly turned to dark with its shade burned ash. The breeze wended mercilessly, among the thick, old trees surrounding the academy.
Its as if the Gods connived, brewed up something dangerous in the clouds, or simply yet, they are to make this world will regret.
Just like how we've been boiled up from our crimes and mistakes with a punishable plague that swarms the world on its end.
The world was once painted as a beautiful paradise,
but now it's tainted with greed and power in which we don't recognize.
a nature that is constantly crumbling,
where the apocalypse has come rumbling. . .

"WAHHHHHHH IT'S CHASING MEEEEE!"
Claire shrieked and sprinted towards us with both legs as if she was running for her dearest life.
It was a male zombie.
His stomach had been ripped, leaving the knotted intestines dangled down the side from his half-naked body. Both his uniform shirt and pants were torn down, leaving the half part of it and a large deep scratch on the other side of the leg. Although, what was surprising is that the person could still walk. Blood smeared on his ugly face.
Such a grotesque sight.
Surprisingly, how come he could still sense her? Is this how a powerful virus able to sense human flesh? are they really eagerly starving for flesh?
Hearing the scream, everyone turned their attention to her, making them stunned at the sight of a gruesome zombie. 'No, no, no. Not here, girl, you don't want us to be eaten as well', thought everyone grimly.
Levi glared at her to make her mouth shut. Her screams will surely alert the others if she wasn't going to listen at once. There were five more zombies behind him. So, Levi turned to everyone and began pointing out some directions, as she warned them to get ready as possible.
The first one was killed by Miggy, when he held up a piece of a broken leg from the chair, and swung it to the zombie's head, making it headless. Blood jetted out from his neck as it collapses it to the floor.
They all stood motionless looking at Miggy who just killed a zombie, bringing the girls admired from his work. Kate shot him a thumbs up with a wide smile.
A loud roar came from the five zombies, sauntering forward. The guys took their action and knocked them down by the chairs. Seeing them unconscious, they knew it won't take long for them to knock out. They may be dead but the virus controlled them like puppets.
"Let's go!" Levi called out, she didn't want to wait further before the zombies will wake up once again to fight back. She take the lead ahead of us while heading downstairs. She didn't mean lead the group but compared to their age, she was at the oldest and the only one who seemed to be mature and has the right mind handling these matters. Her expression gave a calm judgment of the current situation.
Everyone and nodded followed her.
Behind the line, a girl stood who was scared out of her wits got patted by her shoulder from Beth and gave her a sad smile. "You, okay?". After hearing her words, she was still speechless at the sudden turned of events, and still a little shaken from earlier, Claire merely nodded.
After they reached the ground floor, a crowd zombie strolled around the hallway. They went all quiet as they saw them strolling around as if they're just having a sleepwalk lifelessly. One single noise would lead them to death's door.
"So. . .what now?" Mark said, finally breaking the silence. He didn't want to appear insensitive, but standing here for who knows how long would not help them to gain something.
Levi glanced at the crowded zombie near the entrance then, shifted her attention through the route at the back exit of the school. None of the zombies were seen roaming there. She pondered deeply then, spoke. "We will use the back route then, search for a van. Who usually drives here? " one guy raised his hand while Levi nodded.
Everyone made their move as the two guys carried out a table just in case when the plan A failed. Unconsciously, Beth's phone began to ring abruptly. She didn't have time to check who called her because even herself, she was dumbfounded to move. The phone was ringing loudly from its place in her jeans pocket, making all the zombies paused on their tracks and turned their attention to the noise, they dashed forward at her.
"Run!" Kate cried out.
