Jumin sat on his bed across of the manga that he found in his bag. He stared at it with a perplexed look on his face as he grabbed his phone.
Miracle turned to her phone when she heard it ringing. She began sweating when she saw who was calling her. She cleared her throat and answered the call. "Hello?"
"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS, MIRACLE?!" Kyung yelled as Miracle took her phone from against her ear.
"Goddamn, you don't have to yell in my fucking ear like that," Miracle yelled back. "And what are you talking about?"
"What I am talking about?" Kyung repeated. "That one of your fucking BL manga is right in front of me. What the hell am I supposed to do with it?!"
"This may sound crazy, but you can read it," Miracle replied as she walked to the kitchen to get something to drink. "And why are you acting surprised about it? Maybe Jumin or Min wanted to lend one from me."
"For what?"
"Maybe because Jumin was curious about how he can confess to Parker or something like that." She grabbed a can of Cola. "Or Min was curious about my BL collection."
"Miracle, I've already told you NOT to show Min any of your BL manga's," Kyung warned. "He's only 14 and I don't want him to take the same path that you did."
"Oh, so you're more like a tsundere type," Miracle stated. "You act like you don't care about him but you secretly do. Same goes with Parker."
"Shut the fuck up!" Kyung yelled. Kyung heard something fall on the other end of the call and listened to Miracle cursing.
"Aw, shit. My fucking drink!" Miracle cried and she whipped her head around to see if Scott was behind her. She looked back at the puddle. "Should I slurp it up or not?" She thought and shook her head as she stood up. "Give me a sec." She ran to grab a handful of paper towels and tossed them on the ground.
While she was busy cleaning, Jumin scratched his head while he stared at the manga. "What should I do?"
"Don't read it!" Kyung yelled. "We don't know what's inside."
"Read it!" Min shouted. "I'm too curious to know what Miracle also reads."
Jumin grabbed the manga. "Dekoboko Sugar Days," Jumin muttered. "Hey, Miracle."
"Jumin? Yeah, what?" She asked as she grabbed her phone from the counter.
"Does this have any... you know," Jumin didn't know how else he could say it.
"No, it doesn't have any uncensored peepee of you were trying to ask that," Miracle said. "BUT, there is a sex scene in chapter 5 if you want to skip that. And if you do skip that, you don't really have to read the extra."
Jumin looked uncertain at the two characters on the cover. He flipped it around and read the summary. After a minute of reading, his expression became more uncertain. "I'm not so sure if I'll read this," Jumin said.
"You better. I'm tired of seeing you all in love with Parker and doing nothing about it."
"What am I supposed to do about it?" Jumin demanded. "You're being all optimistic and yet we don't even know if he likes me or not. What if I told him how I feel and he doesn't want to talk to me anymore? I'd rather hide my feelings and act as a friend than not being able to talk to him because of a stupid confession."
"Aye, I'm just saying that you'll never know if something happens. Maybe he does have the hots for you and you have to push your luck a little." Miracle snorted. "Or you have to kidnap him and make him get Stockholm syndrome. Just kidding about the last part. But anyway, I am 75 percent confident that he also likes you."
"And what kind of evidence do you have?" Jumin asked.
Miracle tried to think of some form of evidence that she has. "I don't have any," she sighed. "It's just this feeling, y'know? And when was I ever wrong about something? Wait, don't answer that."
Jumin let out a dejected sigh. "What now?"
"Just read the manga. You won't regret it," Miracle replied. "Tell me what you think of it tomorrow at school. If you hate it, you can hit me. But if you liked it, I can recommend you some more."
"Alright," Jumin said. "Good night."
"G'night."
Jumin ended the call and lied down on his back, the manga still in his hand. "Should I or should I not?" After a few seconds, he decided to read it. "Eh, what's the worse that could happen?"
The next day
"It was good," Jumin admitted as he gave Miracle the manga back.
"What did I tell you?" Miracle smirked. "Do you want more recommendations like that? You can come over later or some other day if you want."
"I'll think about it."
"Think about what?" They heard Parker asking behind them. They both turned surprised toward Parker while he looked at them confused. "What?"
"Jumin just asked if he could lend a volume for Min, since he really wants to read it," Miracle lied. "Do you want to come with?"
"Sorry, I can't," Parker replied. "I already have plans with someone."
"What?" Jumin and Miracle asked.
"Oh, I see," Miracle smirked. "Do you have a girl that you were hiding?"
"N-no! It's nothing like that," Parker replied embarrassed as he glanced at Jumin. "Tessa asked me if I could help her with some school work since she doesn't have anyone else." Parker turned to Jumin. "She asked me if you could come along. You can decline if you want to."
"Jumin would love to go," Miracle grinned. "He got nothing else to do besides being a nerd and make homework."
"What about the manga?" Parker asked.
"Oh, that? That can happen another day. Now what's important is what you have to help her with."
"I think that she said that she needs to draw a person for her art class, but I'm not sure," Parker replied. "She can draw very well and she told me that she wants to draw a comic eventually. But her problem is that she isn't that great with coming up with a story."
"Miracle, stop smiling like that. You're creeping me out," Jumin sighed, trying not to look at Miracle's creepy grin.
"What? I didn't say anything," Miracle grinned as she turned towards Parker. "But I can help her with the story if she's down. I can at least be a little useful, unlike someone I know."
"What is that supposed to mean?"
Miracle smiled at Jumin. "Nothing."
"Jumin," Parker called. "I forgot to tell you. Tessa lives like thirty minutes away from school, so I'll be driving us there. My dad said that I can use it today." Parker looked down at his hands. "I just hope that mom isn't home when we're there."
"I almost forgot that you can drive," Jumin said. "We go to so many places with public transport and you don't even mention it anymore."
"That's true, but it isn't like I can always use the car. I just got lucky today." Parker averted his eyes to the ground. "And I find it more fun to hang out like that with you," Parker said, mumbling the last part. The teacher walked into the classroom and put her bag on the desk. "A-anyway, class is about to start. I'll tell you more later."
Jumin smiled. "Sure."
