Prologue

At a downtown aside near a club, a chase happens in the snow, a wounded man runs for his life, ended up tripping over in fear.

As he looks back, a woman holding a pistol with a silencer is pointed at him with a smile on her face, simple words were given to her target. “So long, Predator.”, a trigger is pulled after those words.

As the confirmation of his death becomes documented, she pulls back her hair to reveal a wig that it was a man all along.

This we are witnessing is the work-life of the spy, Konstantine.

The Phantom Spy Agencies (PSA)

As Konstantine enters the office of PSAHQ, he is treated with respect by other employees. Not only is he respected, but he respects them in return.

As he continues to walk through the offices, a tower if files nearly fall as Konstantine saves the files from falling over. “Going overtime again Riley?”, said Konstantine after noticing the number of files, “Let me help you with those”, Konstantine shows his genuine side to other employees, especially to his secretary that he’s helping, Riley.

“Thank you so much, Agent Konstantine.”, said Riley in relief. “No need to be formal Riley, It’s just us.”, said Konstantine to calm Riley, but Riley exclaims, “But we’re still in the office space.”, as Konstantine realizes he nonchalantly sighs out, “You got a point.”

As they reach Riley’s desk Konstantine proposes, “Shouldn’t you dial it back a bit?”, to which Riley fired back, “Says the guy who’s been going on missions nonstop.”, “Hey, who knows how many victims would be added if the target is not taken out quicker than a lion hunting down prey?”, Konstantine retaliates with that remark, “Well, you’re not wrong with the documents saying the resultants of your targets being marked as arrested and assassinated due restraint,”, Riley agrees.

He then adds, “Speaking of which, Sir Davis wants you in his office.”, Konstantine reacts as he knew that it is coming, “As always, thanks.”, As he left the office floor he heads to the elevator that is the only access to the top floor where Sir Davis’ office is.

As Konstantine enters the office Sir Davis, the boss of PSA, couldn’t contain his happiness as he sees him, “Agent Konstantine! How’s the mission?”, “Same as always.”, Konstantine says as he is approached with a hug. As Konstantine’s about to give the report, “Sir, about what happened,”, “Well, you don’t have to report this time.”, Sir Davis interrupts Konstantine. He continues, “Two police officers reported on the security footages to recognize it’s you.”, as he finishes Sir Davis shows the security footage of the mission Konstantine is seen shooting at the restraining target.

“He refused to listen.”, Konstantine states the reason for the result, “Well whatever happened, had to happen.”, responded by Sir Davis. As the video ends Sir Davis gets off on his seat and confronts Konstantine, “You know Konstantine, you’ve been with us for as long as I can remember, and I’m thinking of putting you in a higher position.”, “A higher position?”, Konstantine confusingly repeats, “Yes, you’ve been executing perfectly on those missions, regardless of the results. Everyone respects you, even the law sees you as a great agent, and I believe you deserve it.”

As Konstantine hears the praises from Sir Davis, he thinks about the decision. He faces Sir Davis and confidently answers, “Sir, as much as I like to appreciate the offer, I still need more time before I reach that position.”, As Sir Davis is denied from the offer, he looked down, then lightly grinned at the response replying, “Well, alright.”

As Sir Davis returns to his chair, he looks out at the window, reflecting, “Hard to imagine what you’ve been through when I first met you.”, Konstantine leans on the desk and responds, “You couldn’t forget that time, huh?”, “Yeah, that same snowy day.”, Sir Davis flashes back 12 years ago when he was still an agent.
