The closest one to Emi began to throw a punch that connected squarely on her cheek, causing her to stumble backward a few steps and clutch her cheek with a look of confusion on her face.

"Ha! Ain't so tough now is you bit-!" The assailant's words were cut off from a pink and blue floral patterned Japanese umbrella connecting squarely in the face sending him flying above the crowd of rappers and landing unconscious on the pavement below.

"Sup Emiko chan," Ronaldo said. His long hair was tied up into a bun, similar to the style of a samurai. He was wearing joggers and a black kimono cardigan with a dragon spewing out fire that steadily turned into red and orange flowers. "How you holdin' up?" He said with a smile.

"You asshole!" She shouted while clutching her cheek. "You were supposed to help me out!"

"You looked like you had the situation handled," Ronaldo replied. "I didn't want to treat you like a damsel or somthin," Ronaldo said with a smile.

"Screw you Ronnie-kun", Emi said tauntingly. Ronaldo clutched his chest and kneeled down.

"Dammit Emi, that's a low blow."

"Who the hell is this weeb?" A rando from the crowd said. Ronaldo stood straight at attention when hearing this. He radiated a menacing aura that sent chills through the crowd.

"Who the hell just said that?" Ronaldo asked incredulously. Everyone surrounding the random rapper stepped away from him, revealing a quivering man with a backward hat and a basketball jersey. Ronaldo pointed his umbrella at the man with a menacing stare.

"I'll deal with you first." He said before rushing at him and swiftly hitting him in the face with his umbrella, sending him spinning onto the pavement unconscious. Ronaldo chuckled to himself. "Who's next?"

After successfully fighting a good portion of the crowd, the rest of the rappers ran away. The ground was littered the unconscious bodies of various rappers; Ronaldo wiped the sweat from his brow and let out a relieved sigh.

"That was a good warm-up." He said while sliding his umbrella into his belt as if he were a samurai, sheathing his katana after a long battle. Emi walked up to him and slapped him on the shoulder.

"So you feel better after gettin' yo ass handed to you by your girlfriend Ronnie?" Emi started laughing. Ronaldo let out an annoyed sigh.

"Ex," he replied. "And lay off. I had to fight off that glue eating monster and a gang before that lunatic hooked me." Emi started slapping Ronaldo's shoulder while madly giggling.

"Hahaha. Hey, I'm just messin' Ronaldo, don't worry." Emi paused for a moment. "We got pretty worried for you back there. That heal tank did some work... well... until you wrecked it..."

"Hey, all I did was sleep. I only came to once I was out of that thing. 'Sides it's not like they cared, they just want to help people." Ronaldo said very relaxed. Emi gave a tired look to Ronaldo.

"I'm pretty sure that Q told you repeatedly that if she saw you again she'd kill you."

"Oh yeah..." Ronaldo began laughing. "She was a kick that one." Emi sighed.

"I don't get you," Emi replied. "How did you break that thing anyway? You were steamin'." She asked. Ronaldo looked up for a moment trying to gather his thoughts.

"I don't really remember, but they said that the fluid in the tank is effective in delivering oxygen to the lungs. I get warm when I do that breathing technique, but regular air only contains about twenty point nine five percent oxygen. I must've naturally started doing tummo and the higher oxygen content in the fluid made my breathing way more effective." Ronaldo explained. Emi started tapping her head.

"I think I sorta get it. I read a little about tummo, but I still don't totally understand how just breathing can do all that." Emi said.

"I don't really get too caught up on the details. If it works it works."

"Hmm, that's one way of looking at it," Emi replied.

"So why did you have me meet you here instead of Lil Brazil? Did you have some personal beef with these dudes?" Ronaldo asked.

"Nah, nothin' like that," Emi replied. "Gustavo gave me a tip on someone that might be able to help us out."

"Who?"

"She used to be the president of the Muay Thai club at school, but she stopped showing up, and nobody knows why. She lives pretty close by."

The two of them continued to walk a few blocks before arriving in front of a muted brick apartment building. They entered the main entrance of the building and walked to the second-floor hallway; Emi was looking at her phone to make sure she got the correct apartment number.

"I think this is the one..." She said. She knocked on the door, as soon as she did the door began started to open. Emi was a little taken aback by the promptness.

"Uh hello?" She took a step forward into the apartment.
