So many clouds!

Alas, it's now over.

Alas, it's now over.

Jul 01, 2020

The first thing Josho noticed before he opened his eyes was the immense pain in his head. It felt like someone just had crashed a big ship on it and were now dancing a victory dance with steel bots.

Ship? Crash? Wait, didn't we just crash the mining ship?

He opened his eyes, and it took a while for him to adjust to the darkness that surrounded him. But other there in the dark, he could hear people crying out in pain.

When he could see more clearly, he ran his hands all over his body to see if there were any injuries, but he seemed fine.

His dad had always told him that he had the bottoms luck. But this was by far the biggest miracle he had gotten away in his short life.

But as he looked around, he understood that the helm room was most likely the thing that had saved his life.

For Bob, it was a different story. He stood up and coughed blood with a bewildered look in his eyes.

His eyes became furious when his grasping hand found a wrench protruding from his chest.

Josho walked over while he tried to soot his old enemies that started to flail with his big knuckles when he got close.

"You.... said that *cough* that... you could fly," Bob accused and tried to hit Josho once more.

"I can fly, I am just bad at flying an armored class ship," Josho answered calmly. He cursed his sharp tongue, making Bob angry would not help him at all right now.

"I will kill you!"

Bob staggered some steppes in an attempt to catch Josho but lost his balance. There was a sickening plop when the wrench came loose from the chest.

Bob grasped Josho's boot in the last attempt, but the strength left him as the eyes rolled back.

"Alas, it's now over my old friend," Josho whispered and kicked the now very dead Bob.

It had all started when Josho first gotten assigned to Imperial mining ship 1872 when the rest of the slaves found out that Josho came from a family of storm chasers they had tortured him for nearly six years now.

Hitting and kicking was just the start, but it soon became more of a game for them to find new ways to hurt him. But they could never break his pride in being a storm chaser.

Even though society saw them as heretics for chasing the storms and lighting to collect it, it was after all the undying empress thunder. She was after all the storm favored ruler of the sky.
