Then I heard his mother shout
“Xander is that you. Its time for dinner.”
“Yea, it’s me. I brought a friend over, is that ok.” Xander shouts.
“Oh honey, You made friends. Will he be staying for dinner?”
“Um...Yea.”
“Hi, Mrs. Fox, I’m Max. Nice to meet you” I say shyly.
“Hi, Max, So nice to meet you. I’m sorry I can’t come outside I got a lot of unpacking to do.”
“It’s fine. Nice to meet you too.”
During dinner, we ate traditional Korean food. The food tasted amazing. There was a salty taste to the seaweed and a sweet taste to the rice. The meat tasted amazing. It was barbecued and original Korean meat.
“This food is amazing!” I exclaimed as Xander and I was taking our plates to the kitchen.
“My auntie cooks really good food,” he says not making eye-contact. “I always suggest that she should open her own restaurant, but she always says no.” Huh, I thought weird, then I thought of a great idea.
