Again I felt my head spin, similar to the feeling of a fall in a rollercoaster, but certainly enough we were at the foot of the mountain. Its greenery was steep and I could smell water.

'¿Smell water???  I guess it's this body's senses are sharper '

"Devil lord-sama this is the place I talked about" Nami hid her ear with her paw-like-hands showing her uneasiness

I took a glance at the surroundings and sure enough, I could hear and sense beasts, quite the number.

"This place will be perfect, we can set a village in the depths of this mountain. I'm pretty certain no hyuman in its right mind would come near"  Nami and Takashi nodded to what I had said

But the problem remained 'How to get all of them to safety in this  war zone'

I couldn't possibly be as stupid to think that I could protect them from any danger for two reasons:

1 They are about fifteen individuals

2 I am only familiar with one spell [Dark Blaze]

And I don't want to burn this place to the ground, resources will be an issue if I do.

"Tadashi, for what Nami has told me this place is quite dangerous, and I cannot take the chance of someone going about and getting attacked"

I didn't want him to know that I was scared of obliterating the mountain with my only spell so far,😣.

"Nami, Tadashi it will be necessary for you to stay behind, I will go ahead and scout once I find a suitable path and place I'll come back"

They both nodded but the fact that leaving them was risky made me feel uneasy

I was lost in thought for a while until a loud cracking sound snapped me out of my daze.

An all too familiar beast showed up

"how many of you guys are there?!!!?"

The beast just looked at me, ready to launch its self against me.

[Dark B...] "No if i use this It'll just cause trouble"

I looked up searching for a place to have terrain advantage, then I spotted it a tall and old looking tree.

I dashed towards it, starting to panic at the wolf's speed I jumped, that single leap got to the branch that was more than two meters high.

"Oh wow... wasn't expecting that"

'Think your brother watched plenty of animated shows, c'mon '

Then an idea pops up ' Wind magic! Wind arrow?

Three projectiles launched in erratic directions.

"okay, I can do this, I can do this. if not ... I'll run"

The Berserk Giant Wolf 🐺 was jumping and scratching the trunk of the tree, trying to bite my legs. Boy... I miss my shoes...

I lifted my right hand, and state [Wind Arrow]

One by one the three wind arrows sliced through the wolf,  leaving it in a sorry state.

Then I heard it ...

"Guuuurrrr"

My cheeks turned bright red " Right, I can't remember my last meal..."

"I'll just tie it up on the tree and come back for it"

Walk, walk and guess what more walking 👣.

An hour or so went by until I got near the body of water, a small lake.

I bent and took a sip of water, it was refreshing and sweet. And then... something or someone pushed my butt, making me fall into the water.

My pupils started irradiated red, I started searching my surroundings to find who had the nerve to push me in.

In the end I found no presence or smell, I calmed myself trying not to think about it. 

Near the top of the mountain I found a perfect spot hidden to the eye "It's near the body of water and for the looks of it food will not be a problem"

Having found a place I made my way down marking several trees to ensure I follow the same path.

The bushes filled with thorns did not make it any easier.

I reached the foot of the mountain everyone has closed their eyes and slept, peacefully at that.

Once I crossed the barrier, as if sensing me Nami sprinted my way and hugged my waist, patting her head I noticed that the color and pattern had reversed.

Her hair had turned black and on her cat-like ears were a couple of orange streaks.

"Nami? what happened to you?"

"Devil Lord sama, this happened after you left! it's thanks to the blessing you gave us!!" Nami excited told me about how the name and the individual naming could change a being

Then it hit me "Where is Takashi?"

She pointed out to the back " there"

Takashi...

The colors of his horns and hair had reversed. His horns became somewhat smaller and black as midnight, while his hair had turned a similar shade as to mine. His skin turned light such as that of hyumans instead of his grey tone.

He... looked like an Oni

A handsome one at that.

" Takashi are you alright?" Somehow I knew he wasn't very pleased with how he looked or so I thought

He came to me and hesitated before asking " I was an ogre, but now I look like variant. What exactly..."

"An Oni" before he could finish his sentence I answered half sure half my own suggestion
