As Kanuichi walked off he tells everyone get ready to leave. The reason he was so upset is because the last time he had made a fool of himself, and his sister never did anything like that, not on purpose, anyway.

Kanaichi- So, what kind of demon are you?

Hoshi- Well, I don’t know what my father was, but my mother was human.

Shikia- So, your only a half-demon. Wow! Your really powerful for being only a half-demon.

Hoshi- So, what’s wrong with that?

Shikia- Not a thing! But how did you get so strong?

Hoshi- My mom was a ninja. It was she who taught me how to fight and I have my father’s strength. Now they are both dead, and I do know it was a demon slayer.

Kanaichi- Oh, is that why you want to get stronger?

Hoshi- I want for my parents, but mostly for my mom, because it was a demon slayer that killed her!

Shikia- So your going after them? How old were you when that happened?

Hoshi- I was 10 years old and yes I am, I have been trying to get stronger ever since.

Shikia- Wow. I will help you.

Kanuichi- We all will.

Hoshi- Thank you all.

So they started walking onto the next village, but on the way they came across Taichi. Kanuichi and Kanaichi were able to get close enough to talk to him.

Kanuichi- Why did you run away?

Taichi- I wanted to become a demon slayer.
