After finishing our meal, we started walking when my phone went off. I looked and it was Daemon calling,

“Hey, this is an important call. I’ve gotta take it. So, I’ll see you tomorrow Jas.”

I started walking a different direction,

“Uh yeah sure, okay. I’ll pick you up tomorrow around 7:30. We head straight to the bar from there.”

Jas sounded kind of sad that we were separating,

“Yep! I’ll be ready, see you tomorrow!”

I ran off before he could ask more questions,

“Hello?”

[The allotted three days are up, so I figured I’d make a fool of myself and contact you first.]

His silky-smooth voice captivated me, I thought for sure I’d never hear from him again after my terrible kissing skills.

“Well don’t I feel special.”

I teased him as I tried to keep my own cool.

[As you should. I worked awfully hard to not contact you for three days. What are you doing right now?]

“I need to go shopping for some new clothes, what about you?”

He was trying NOT to contact me? So, did that mean that he wanted to contact me?

[Funny that you mention shopping, I need to pick up an outfit for my little sisters’ birthday. Would you mind if I joined you?]

“Not at all, I’ll meet you in front of the mall.”

And on top of wanting to contact me he wants to see me now?! No, stop it Kai. Get a grip on yourself.
