Officer Wis Personal Notes

I have arrived at the abandoned town of Kryo, this place had a population of only fifty people yet was a real lively town since it had the only university in the area.

The question I now have is where did all those people go, a week ago they all suddenly disappeared, when the students of the university left the town on Friday evening the town was still alive, Monday morning and the town looked as if it had been abandoned for years, not a single person. The students looked around in the houses and nothing.

After interviewing the students I found out that the townsfolk had been acting a little strange for the last six months, there was a three-week vacation given to the students almost 6 months ago and when they returned they found a new girl had joined the university and now was living in the girl’s dormitory. There even was a welcome party for her, everyone in town attended the party.

But ever since we returned the town’s people were acting really strange, they almost never talked and when they did it sounded like something you would hear from an NPC when you are playing a game, almost preprogrammed.

There was also this new guy when we returned, who was certainly crazy, rapidly looking around him as if surrounded by demons, always drunk, he would randomly come into the university and start shouting “Red, Red are you there?” and not go until he was thrown out. You would find him lying on the roads, so tired as if he had just walked a thousand kilometers, there was always something uncanny about his movements, fidgeting, constantly slapping himself, suddenly start running, then stand then start walking. He would sometimes even completely disappear and then show up two days later, looking kind of refreshed and normal for once but he would slowly tend to his old way like a dog’s tail slowly circling after you tried to straighten it.
