I wafted my hand over me and went fully invisible as I started running and for good measure, also turned incorporeal. It took me about ten-fifteen minutes to cross the town and I’m not as fast as Omen, but I’m a good bit faster than the regular person. I just ran through the curtain wall before kicking off the ground then the curtain wall and dove through the wall of the manor, inside was bright, filled with the sound of music and people talking, there’s either a dinner going on…or a ball. I sank through the floor to the ground floor, I walked for a few minutes before dipping my head through a wall to see a huge out of place dining room, this town is logging, they shouldn’t be able to get things like this without some other kind of hand in money, based on what I could see, the old man here’s been dipping his fingers in the tax money. The table was piled high with roasted suckling pigs, game meat, and tons of other foot, there was enough food for well over two dozen people, but there were only eight at the table, all with two-three personal bottles of wine or spirits, gorging themselves like fat pigs. All members of the La-Minnings family. I drew my dagger as I slid across the floor, passing a fat as shit dog under the table currently going to town on his own personal roasted fawn. I rose up behind the old man himself before I turned my dagger in hand softly before grabbing his hair, I felt him lock up under my grasp as his eyes looked around trying to see something, I rose my brow as I looked towards the windows and an unseen force drew the curtains and slammed them to the wall,
“Daddy, are you alright?” A son, way too old to be calling his father, daddy, asked, before he could react though, I made them all watch his head lean back far enough to make the veins in his neck bulge before out of nowhere, blood erupt out of the side of his throat as I stabbed my dagger into the side of his neck till the point was out of the other side, I turned the dagger in his flesh so the edges were forward then I flung it forwards nearly decapitating him, however by the way the invisibility spell works, because I did something beyond interacting with an object, it faded. The others instantly went to scream for help, but I just snapped my fingers and the entire room fell silent as they all grabbed at their throats as their voice wouldn’t come out, I flicked my hand and the blood currently imitating a geysery out of this geezer, swirled and snaked across the floor before two walls of spikes filled the doorways as they went to run.
“Now, now…let’s have fun, now…shall we?” I asked, as I pushed the geezer out of his chair, pulling my snood down as I grabbed the overfilled glass of red wine he had and just downed it in one go. My dagger does physical damage if I use it in a physical way like I just did, but if I throw it, it turns into a bolt of necrotic magic like with the sailor. I kicked my feet up on the table as I leaned in the fat old man’s chair, now just drinking the wine out of the bottle as I held my hand up and the other seven were huddled by one of the blood needle filled doorway, the youngest being a babe, probably now more than one or two, currently silently wailing in the arms of his mother, definitely not the old dude’s wife, maybe his daughter as she was clinging to a younger man who was obviously not of the same blood line as the corpse beside me. I sighed as I stood before flicking my hand and a bolt of blood flicked over to my hand, I wove my fingers as the blood turned into a ribbon around me before it shot out and across the wall in dripping blood was…DB. I cracked my knuckles, “What…don’t like my silencing spell?” I asked, before sighing, “Could you please shut that mongrel up?!” I snapped motioning to the baby, the baby was silenced, but still, I hate children. The mother tried to in her forced silence make the baby stop crying, but unable to hear anything except my voice made him cry worse, even the fireplace and the candles in the chandelier were quiet. “If you…don’t quiet the kid” I said before cracking my knuckles, the sound echoed dully and grimly through the room, “I will.” I’ve killed kids before, I’ve killed pets, guards galore, hell, I’ve killed infants and newborns. If they’re a noble of Lodor, they’re dead in my hands. I laughed softly as I looked at the rather toad looking and built corpse about three feet behind me and to my right before I held my hand up towards him, “What…do you not like the…improvement I’ve given your father?” I asked as threads of green light shot from my fingertips and shot into his body, all of them wailed silently in terror, crying and shaking as the body of the father…shakily, uncoordinatedly and wobblily rose to his feet, I laughed softly as I made a quick movement of my finger and he turned, his head now just being held on by the flesh of the back of his neck and spine flopping around in all directions as I made him do the stupidest dances I could think off before with a soft pop sound, his head thumped to the ground while his body continued to dance around, quite literally like a chicken with its head cut off. I sighed before flicking my hand and the corpse fell to the carpet with a silent thunk, but I felt it through my boots. I rose my hand again and green light shot from his body and formed an orb on my hand, I motioned with my other hand and the green light funneled into my nose and mouth, my eyes rolled back and one of my eyelids twitched, “Oh, yeah…that’s the good stuff. The life energy of a noble always…gives me such a rush! God, I’m so happy I can feed off the life of the living instead of regular food!” I said before laughing before softly tilting my head over as a little girl, about seven or so, just as toad looking at the others, save for the people obviously married into the group, was currently white knuckle gripping a stuffed toy. “What is it, little girl, did you not like your papa’s dance?” I asked as I knelt down getting eye level with her, but still about ten feet away. I laughed softly before sighing, I tipped my hood back and lifted my mask so they could see my full Sigian face, I always let them see my face, I want their ghosts in my army to know the face of the person who killed them, I like to see the fear in their eyes as the light goes out without the gauze of the mask dimming my vision, “I see you like bunnies, how about…I give you one.” I said before raising my hand and a bolt of green light slammed into the little girl who instantly bolted from her mother’s arms, screaming silently as she threw the bunny, “Cause fear, always a fun one, she’s currently seeing her stuffy turn flesh and blood, but…twisted, scary and…honestly, what all you nobles deserve.” I said, the little girl ran around the table before tripping and face planting into the carpet, I laughed, kids getting hurt in a weird way always makes me laugh.
I breathed deeply as my breath fogged out my nose and mouth and my body flexed softly, my shoulders going back as my back rolled and a pulse of green light went out snuffing all of the lights in the room, in the darkness, my body’s natural speed increased by threefold, I grabbed the little girl before slamming her into the wall, my hand around her throat as I move my other hand over and let the fireplace relight, green snakes of magic coiled down my arms before wrapping around her, she screamed silently as her entire body convulsed, glowing lime green snakes of energy went the opposite direction up my arm from her before sinking into my own skin,
“Vampiric touch spell…so…so useful.” I said before tossing her limp, lifeless body to the back wall, she hit a china cabinet, the glass broke quietly as she thumped to the floor, “Oh, how to torture you” I asked as I looked towards the woman still holding the trashing babe, “I am so sorry, where are my manners, I didn’t get to introduce myself.” I said, putting my dagger back on my shin as I grabbed another bottle of wine from the table and turned as I bowed, “I am Aramathius Renaud, second princess of Sigia, the noble and military assassin DB and to my kingdom’s military, the unstoppable, unkillable, avatar of death known simply as…Deathblooded, at your service. All of you funded Lodor’s siege on my kingdom, I will not stop what I do till the amount of your disgusting blood on my hands tenfold of the volume of Sigian blood on all of yours.” I said, before I smiled softly as a…beautifully terrible idea graced my mind, “I know what I can do for you.” I said before lifting my hand and blew, green magic swirled around her as she trashed, her eyes tightly closed, but then she gasped as the green magic invaded her body, “Blood puppet spell, a little thing of my own make, I can control the very blood in your veins. I like to call myself, a bloodmancer, I love being able to control people’s blood, I get to make them do…so…many…fun…things.” I said as the woman, still holding the baby, jerkily, shaking, screaming silenced and fighting against the spell, did as I told her to do through my movements, I rose my other hand towards the fireplace and lifted my fingers making the flames surge, as I said the last words, long, drawn out and stressed making my impossibly thick accent even more, I made her take, long, halting steps towards the fireplace. “I think your baby’s crying because its cold…no?” I asked before she lowered her arms holding the baby, I could feel her fighting the spell, I simply did a small movement of my pinkies and she tossed the baby into the fire, “Now, you shouldn’t have to watch this” I said before slamming my hand and she suddenly full force as hard as I could control someone to, slammed her face into the edge of the mantle making a spray of blood project across the mirror above it, splatter the mantle and herself before she fell back, still, face caved in and dead.
“Four left.” I said before taking another drink of the wine, “Good vintage” I said before looking at the label, “May have to buy a bottle of this myself on the way back.” I added, “Or, I’ll just raid your wine cellar after this.” I said laughing softly, the husband of the woman who’s face was now inverted and the father of the baby now dead, was on his hands and knees screaming and wailing silently, I heard him scream, “you monster”, towards me, I’m pretty good at reading lips, I rose my hand and the smoke of the fire swirled and twisted out of the fireplace before condensing in the far corner, someone’s going to smell burning flesh, later.
I flicked my hands around as I looked towards the body of the woman on the floor and the spray of blood across her face and the mantle shot towards me and swirled around my hands and wrists, I flicked my hand and the blood broke into four spaces before turning into spine liked shapes before I flicked my wrist and all four lances shot into the man screaming and wailing, the moment the lances pierced him, his face froze, his body froze before flopping to the floor, limp and the lances remained as the blood instantly dried into dark maroon powdery material as the blood instantly clotted. I rose my hand as I flexed my fingers in a claw like motion with my palm up, the younger son, maybe mid-teens or so grabbed at his throat, before he vomited up a torrent of thick, sulfuric smelling black sludge, before his eyes rolled back as his body collapsed forward.
I flicked my arm back and dark blood swirled and shot out like a massive tendril before I turned and slapped one of the last three people with a large splash of dark blood across them followed by green energy pulsing into their body and splashing blood across the floor, wall and ceiling, I rose my other hand and a glowing orb of dripping blood condensed from the air under my other palm, the palm facing downwards with my hands in the same claw like fashion before I slammed my hand forward and the orb shot against next, sending green light across them as blood splattered and dried into needles over their chest, last thing I did was I put my hand out towards the last and closed my hand and slammed my elbow backwards, any exposed flesh on them ripped outwards as it was forcibly torn open causing the blood to erupt out of them. Leaving all of them dead around me. I slid my hands down and all of the blood slopped against the floor in a pool around the floor around my feet soaking the carpet leaving my boots sticky and stodgy against my boots, I finished off that bottle of wine before slipping a good handful or so of finery into my bag of holding, I kept my hand on my short-sword as I stepped out of the dining hall, I flicked my hand and returned to be invisible, though I left bloody footprints in my wake, but I returned to intangible as I floated through the home to the master bedroom and put everything in the jewelry cabinet into my bag of holding before I ran and floated out backwards through the wall as I looked back at the house, I grabbed a small stone from the other side of the curtain wall before jumping and float onto the top, this state of my person makes gravity act weird; I float more so than I fall, I can coast across surfaces that are slick, its just the gravity is far lesser against me. I looked for that one darkened windows of the dining hall before I snapped my fingers and the smoke from the baby in the fireplace plumed out heavily as I threw the stone shattering the window loud enough that near instantly alerted me to alarm bells and things about the grounds.
I ran across the top of the wall before kicking off the end, holding my cloak out a little using gravity’s lessened power over me plus the cloak to coast down from the hill before I ran across rooftops, scalded buildings with a single kick against a sign post or a single handhold in a cobbled chimney stack. I flicked my hand and re-summoned Omen, who ran in the air beside the buildings as I flipped and landed on his back and grabbed the reigns as he flew over the city, I turned as I pulled them slowing Omen, so I was sitting backwards on the saddle, people were screaming, alarms were blaring, I reached into my bag and threw out a massive handful of glimmering golden and silver coins, letting at least a thousand or two coins fall down the main street as people flooded them. I nudged Omen and his speed doubled as he bolted as people scrambled for the coins and everything.
