[Small thing for "How Do I Say 'I Love You?'"]

Eloisa finally confronted Silja, “Silja, sit here, please,” Eloisa said, motioning over to an empty seat.

“Oh, what is this? Are you finally confessing your love to me?” Silja said sarcastically, not believing that Eloisa every would.

Eloisa dropped to one knee once Silja had sat down and made a hand motion, clasping both of her hands together with her index and middle fingers pointing outwards. She brought her hands, still clasped together, to her forehead, then down through her heart, then down through her abdomen, and then pointed her hands towards Silja.

Silja gasped, “Oh my gods… You actually did confess your love to me! Holy shit! Totally unexpected!”

The hand motion Eloisa had performed meant that she vowed to be Silja’s for all of eternity, she brought her hands from her forehead to signify that her mind was Silja’s, through her heart to show her heart was Silja’s, and through her abdomen to show that her body and soul were also Silja’s.

Eloisa smiled at Silja, it was customary for the individual performing the hand motion to not speak until the recipient had said a proper response to it.

Silja chuckled, “Why don’t you just propose to me already?”
