Resha and his son Ren guided us to their home. Their home was far away from where we were, we kept on walking until we reached a place where there were many houses. The houses were close to each other, the paths were thin that we almost had a hard time walking. Some people were staring at us. Then, after a few zig-zag paths, we reached Resha and Ren's house. It was a little house made of wood. Then we went inside. There were some holes on the ceiling, there were also holes on the walls. Resha told us to sit first and enjoy ourselves while he was preparing the meal. When he was done, he invited us to the dining table and we started eating. It was a simple beef stew, but it was delicious. After eating, Ren took our bowls and went to the kitchen to wash the dishes. While Ren was washing the dishes, we started talking.

"So what is it that you wanted to know about this kingdom?" Resha started off with a question.

"Everything, tell me everything you know about this kingdom," Asmodeus answered.

Resha took a calm breath and said, "I'll start from the beginning, it was twenty-two years ago when Alsher, the king was still the same as us, a poor but a kind person..."

"Hey, Resha it's me, Alsher, wanna go hunting with me?" Alsher yelled, waiting for Resha to open the door.

Resha opened the door, yawned, and said, "What are you yelling so early in the morning?"

"I found this place outside the kingdom, there were many deers in there and there were two boars that I spotted," Alsher explained.

"Oh?" Resha said.

"So let's go now and hunt those two boars," Alsher said happily.

"Okay, but I'll tell my wife first," Resha said.

"I'll be waiting near the gate, see you later," Alsher said.

Alsher waved to Resha and walked out. Resha closed the door walked towards a chair to sit. He was still a bit sleepy. Then his wife asked him a question while sewing a garment.

"Who was that?"

"Oh? It was Alsher, he invited me to go hunting with him,"

"Then, you should go,"

"But it's still so early,"

Rinne stopped sewing, then she karate chopped Resha in the head and said, "you should go or we won't have any food to eat,"

Resha was frightened and said, "Y-yes ma'am".

Then Resha went to get his bow and some arrows, he also took a pack basket with him and he headed out. When he was almost near the gate he noticed Alsher waving at him. Resha walked towards Alsher. Alsher also had a pack basket and he was holding a bow and had some arrows in his basket.

"You're finally here," Alsher said.

"So where is this place that you are talking about?" Resha asked.

"It's in the forest, outside the kingdom," Alsher answered.

"Then, let's go there already," Resha said.

"Yeah," Alsher said.

Then both of them headed out of the kingdom and went into the forest. The forest was full of trees, shrubs, vines, and grasses. There were also herbs and mushrooms, also there were lots of insects. After walking for a few minutes, they saw a lake within the forest. They also saw the two boars drinking water from the lake. Then carefully and silently Resha and Alsher took one arrow each, prepared their bow, and aimed. Resha aimed the boar on the right side, while Alsher aimed for the opposite. When their aim was clear, they took a shot. Both shots were clean, their shots took both of the boars down. After that, they went to get the two boars and placed them inside the basket. Then they picked some edible mushrooms before they went home.

"Hey Resha, when we arrive at your home, can I borrow your knife? My knife at home has gotten rusty," Alsher asked.

"Yeah, sure," Resha said.

"Also I'll give you some of my boar's meat, this is too many for me, I can't finish it all," Alsher said.

"Huh? Yeah, I think it's too many for you but you can store it inside a jar, also I already have plenty enough," Resha said.

"I insist, it's thanks for hunting with me today, I also plan to give some to old couple neighbors and some to my friends," Alsher said.

"Well if you insist, there's nothing I can do about it, also you really are a kind man," Resha said.

"M-me? K-k-kind? Ahahaha, thanks man," Alsher flustered.

When Resha and Alsher arrived at Resha's home, Resha let Ashler go inside his home and lend him his knife.

"Thanks man, I'll return your knife later afternoon," Ashler said and put the knife inside this pack basket and went to his home.

When it was afternoon, Ashler went to Resha's home to return the knife. After that, Ashler went home. A few days later, Ashler invited Resha again to go hunting. Resha accepted his invitation and went hunting with him. This time's hunting place was also the same.

"Hey, let's go home already," Resha said to Alsher.

"You go ahead, I'll just pick some more mushrooms in that area," Alsher said.

" Okay, I'll go ahead then," Resha said.

Then Resha went home, while Alsher went deep into the forest to find some more herbs and mushrooms. He kept on walking and walking until he got lost. He tried to find the way out but he doesn't know where. Until a man appeared in front of him. He was a bit frightened.

"U-umm, who are you? Do you know the way out here? Can you help me?" Alsher asked.

Alsher said, but the man didn't respond.

"Umm, sir? Do you know the way out here?" Alsher aksed again.

This time, the man responded, he said, "I can help you with that, but first, you must become my follower,"

"Huh?" Alsher was confused.

"My name is Greyisha, the god of fortune, if you will become my follower then I shall guide you the way out here," the man said.

𝘛-𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘨𝘰𝘥? 𝘈𝘭𝘴𝘰, 𝘢 𝘨𝘰𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘢𝘺?, Alsher thought in his mind.

"Then? Will you become my follower?" Greyisha said.

𝘐𝘧 𝘐'𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘯, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯, Alsher thought.

"Yes, I will become your follower," Alsher said.

"Then from now on, you are my follower," Greyisha said.

Then Greyisha guided Alsher the way out of the forest. Before Alsher went home, Greyisha used a little of his powers to make a few gold coins and gave it to Alsher. Alsher was surprised, he couldn't believe that he really was a god.

When he arrived home, he put his pack basket first containing the one he hunted and some herbs and mushrooms. Then, he went to Resha's home and told him about the god he met earlier.

"Huh? God of fortune? No thanks, I'll rather just work hard than rely on someone else's power," Resha said.

"But, you'll be rich and won't be poor again," Alsher said.

"Still, I don't wanna accept it," Resha said.

"Fine then, I'll just tell the others," Alsher said.

Alsher went out of Resha's home and began to tell his friends. Some of his friends accepted and some didn't. After a few months, Alsher became very rich. But also, as time goes by, his attitude also changed. Alsher became greedy of money. Then because of his richness, he married the kingdom's princess and he became the new king. Then after a year, they bore fruit. Because of his greediness, Alsher increased the taxes. After a few years, some people couldn't pay the taxes for it was too expensive. Resha also couldn't pay the tax. And because of that, Alsher ordered his men to kill those people who couldn't pay. Then after a few months, Alsher ordered his men again to stop hunting or killing.

After a few months, Resha and his wife bore fruit, and they named the child Ren. A few months later, Rinne became very sick and died. And because Resha and Ren didn't have money, he worked hard and he also became a beggar. Many people also became beggars, for they also couldn't pay the tax. A few years later, many rich people started to come to their kingdom. And that also made Alsher not just to have many connections, but also to have more money. Alsher also introduced Greyisha to rich people. Alsher became very rich, while most people became very poor, including Resha and his son.

"And so, that's what happened," Resha said.

"Oh, thank you for explaining it to us," Asmodeus said.

"But still, why did Alsher become greedy if he was so kind?" I said.

"I think, it was because Greyisha, the god of fortune, I think he did something or told Alsher something that made him greedy," Resha said.

I looked at Asmodeus, he was thinking of something so I asked, "Lord Asmodeus, do you have some kind of a plan?".

"Yeah, I think I have a plan," Asmodeus said.

"U-umm, what are you two talking about? Don't tell me that you two are planning to do something to the king?" Resha interrupted.

"Huh? Yeah, we do have," Asmodeus said.

"B-but you can't defeat him, he's too powerful and he's rich," Resha said.

"Oh, he's just powerful because of his money," I said.

"Also, the truth is, I am also a god," Asmodeus said.

"What do you mean?" Resha asked.

Resha was confused and was surprised a bit. We stood up and walked towards the front door. Asmodeus changed back to his original form and face, and so I did.

"I am Asmodeus, the god of death," Asmodeus explained. "And also, I think I can find a way for you and your son to talk with your dead wife," Asmodeus added.

Resha looked down, he didn't know what to say. He looks like he wants to see his wife. His emotions were mixed. I and Asmodeus changed back to our disguise. Then Asmodeus opened the door and went out.

"Thank you for the meal again," I said before I went out of Resha's home.
