Ren hopped down the stairs, two at a time, down to the main deck when she spotted Anette leaving her bed chambers. The captain went up to where the maiden stood and capered lively around her. "'ello lovely! You feeling any better? I noticed you weren't quite looking yourself early this morning." Captain Ren asked, playfully nudging Anette in the shoulder with her elbow.
"Oh yes, I am. I just got a little sea sick, that's all." The maiden shyly smiled.
"That's good." Ren gave a half smile.
"Uh, Ren . . ." Anette spoke hesitantly. "When we were talking about your father, our conversation ended even though I had another question - " Interrupting herself, Anette's tone changed greatly. She noticed the look on Ren's face and the sadness in her eyes when she brought up her father. The maiden intertwined her fingers nervously and shook her head. "Um, I suppose my curiosity always gets the better of me! I should have never asked. It's none of my business."
"Lovely, it's alright." Captain Ren placed her elbow on Anette's petite shoulder and slightly leaned on her side. "I told you, I've let it go. Ask away."
"Well, your father - "
"Father? You mean Ren's father?" Nico, overhearing the conversation decided to walk over to the two girls and interrupt.
"What do you want?" Ren lifted her right eyebrow, annoyed. "Don't you have any where else to be besides right here?"
"Awe Ren, you should know very well that I don't!" He leaned close to Ren's face and smirked. "I heard you talking about Captain Fredrick Falcon." He lifted his head toward Anette, who was very much in a daze when Nico spoke. However, not because she was bored, it was because of what Nico had just said. . .
Anette was zoned out in thought, ~I've heard Fredrick Falcon before. It couldn't be, no. I never thought Ren would be related to Fredrick Falcon! He's the REAL siren slayer!~
