We were sitting in the Kitchen eating lunch when Lila walked in the house. “hey bitches I’m here” she screamed and as she reached the kitchen. I looked at Roman and he was clenching his jaw.

I squealed and rushed to hug her. “I missed your whiny ass Eli” she smiled and I giggled. Aiden hugged her picking her up. “Aiden I just saw you this Friday at school” she smiled and he put her down.

The moment she looked at Roman her expression changed. “Roman I hope you’re treating my brother good” she shacked his hand and he nodded.

“let’s go play video games” Aiden pulled her out of the kitchen with him. “Elijah I will need to go to the gym to check on a few things later” Roman said and I nodded.

“thanks for letting Lila stay with us for a few days” I smiled and he hummed taking another bite of his sandwich.

“she seem protective” he looked at me. we both will always protect each other. “she is” I giggled and kept eating with Roman in silence.

Roman grabbed his keys and looked at me. “I’m leaving now” he said and I gave him a kiss on his cheek.

He patted my head and left. I wish he would give me a kiss every time he came back or left the house.

Today was our date and I was so excited for it yet I felt very nervous. Aiden and Lila were still playing. I shook my head and sat on the couch. “guys you have been playing for three hours now” I huffed.

Lila looked at me and sighed. “so what are we doing today?” she asked and I smiled. “whatever you guys want but.. I have a date with Roman today so..” I blushed.

“does that mean…” Aiden said then looked at Lila. “we will have the house to ourselves” Lila finished and they both screamed.

I shook my head. “you guys won’t do something bad I trust you.. and I know you won’t do something that will make Roman mad at the three of us I want today to be prefect” I sighed dreamily at the thought of spending the night with Roman alone.

They laughed at me and I pouted. “if dad don’t give you the perfect day we will” Aiden said and I hugged him, he huffed but hugged me back.

Until the date I will spend a few hours with them before I get ready. first we got comfy on the couch with a bowl of popcorn as we watched a movie it took us a while to decide which movie because Aiden and Lila can’t agree on the same thing.

After that I took a shower. When I walked downstairs they were pillow fighting and I scolded them for messing the kitchen, there was cookies crumples on the counter and the floor the puppies were chewing on one of Roman’s shoes.

I rushed pulling it away feeling relieved when there was no damage on it. “guys it’s 6 now after a little I have to go come help” I rushed to my room.

Oh god oh god oh god I paced around the room as Aiden and Lila looked at me. “is he always like this?” Aiden asked and Lila sighed loudly. “yeah he does that when he is really nervous about something”.

“I hope my sub is the same it means they like me for real” he said and I glanced at him. He was smiling and I whined.

“do you like anyone?” Lila asked him and I stopped moving. This is interesting to listen too. “yeah Donny and Brian” he blushed and I cooed at him. Lila on the other hand was shocked by what he said.

“they are best friends Aiden” she mumbled and he shrugged. “I don’t know who I like more”.

I shook my head. “guys stop and help me choose something for the date”. They sat me on the bed and looked through the closet.

After fifteen minutes they walked out with one of my suites. “it’s so you and formal” Lila smiled and they left the room.

When I was done getting ready I walked down to them. the suit they picked had flowers on the sleeves and the side.

They gasped and I bit my lips. “good or bad?” I asked feeling worried. “you look good Eli” Lila said and I sighed in relief.

Aiden smiled and nodded. “don’t be nervous” he rubbed my back and I hummed. I had to go there alone Roman said he will meet me at the restaurant.

“be good please” I hugged them both and they nodded. “bye Eli good luck” Lila winked at me. “bye I love you” Aiden said and I gasped. My emotion stirred in me as I hugged Aiden tightly in my arms.

“I love you both bye” I walked to my car and drove to the restaurant. I felt like it was the shortest drive. I couldn’t stop thinking about the date putting a list of the things I shouldn’t do so I don’t ruin it.

I walked inside as a waiter greeted me checking the reservation. When he heard the name he smiled widely and took me to our table. I only ordered water for now I wanted to wait for Roman before getting anything.

It was now 8:30 pm and I didn’t see the sight of Roman yet. I was getting a little worried that something might have happened to him.

I felt a few people’s eyes on me as I waited for Roman. I tried not to seem nervous or bothered by their looks or that I was setting alone. I checked my phone it was 9 now so I decided to text Roman where he was.

The waiter gave me another glass of water and smiled at me, I could see the sympathy in his eyes. I felt my heart pounding in my chest, it was almost 10:30 now. did Roman forget about the date? I called him but he didn’t answer.

I felt my eyes tear up as I got up leaving a generous tip for the waiter. It was 11 now. Roman didn’t reply to my text yet.. I can’t believe he stood me up like this.

As soon as I got in the car I called Lila. “you’re on speaker” she said. “guys.. he didn’t come to the date I waited for him” I sniffed and heard Aiden voice. “Eli come back home” he said and I said okay.

When I parked the car I saw Roman’s car in front of the house. I walked inside the house and he was sitting in the living room.

I know that my face was red and my eyes were buffed from all the crying I did in the car. he got up. “I had a problem in work” he said but I ignored him.

“where are they?” I asked and he sighed. “sleep upstairs” he replied and I nodded.

“Elijah.. “ he said but I shook my head cutting him off. “you could have texted me” I bit my lips and gulped.

“I couldn’t leave something important for a date” he said coldly. I gasped and looked at him. “that date meant a lot to me.. you left me there alone while everyone was staring at me” I cried again.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me to the kitchen. I looked at him as he made a sandwich and gave it to me. “ I already ate with Zach” he said and I pushed his hand away.

“eat” he growled and I shook my head. “don’t be childish it’s just a date” he said and I looked away feeling hurt.

Just a date? “don’t talk to me” I crossed my arms and turned giving him my back. “don’t tell me what I can and can’t do” he threw the plate on the counter.

“I was nervous all day for nothing.. that was a shitty move ” I frowned. “look at me..” he demanded but I didn’t move a muscle.

“I said look at me” he grabbed my face roughly and turned me to face him. his eyes were dark and angry.

I gulped. I couldn’t look away from him. “I know you’re upset” he gritted his teeth. I don’t know if he was trying to calm himself or If he was showing me how angry he is.

I took a shaky breath and bit my lips. His gaze flickered to my lips. I felt his thump rubbing my lower lip before pulling it down.

I closed my eyes when his face got closer to me. I felt our noses touch as I waited for him to kiss me, He moved his hand away.

I opened my eyes and saw his back to me as he walked out of the kitchen. “go to sleep” he said and I looked down.

He didn’t kiss me.. he didn’t apologies or said that he will take me to another date. He didn’t try to make it up to me.. he didn’t even hold me.

Did he even care about the date? Did he care about how I’m feeling? No.. I’m trying for nothing.. I felt my heart heavy with what I just realized.

I walked to my room and Lila was asleep on the bed. I felt restless the whole night turning around until Lila woke up and cuddled me to sleep.

I didn’t really speak with Roman in the morning before he left to work. To my surprise Aiden ignored his father too. I didn’t like that because I didn’t want them to argue because of me.

Lila was glaring at Roman until I nudged her to stop. I was in the car with Aiden and Lila to drop them to school.

“Aiden please don’t ignore your father” I scolded him and he nodded. “I’m just mad at him for what he did to you”.

“I understand that something happened at work.. don’t worry I won’t leave your dad because of that” I explained and he smiled.

“mission make the dickhead fall for our Eli is on” Lila said and high fived Aiden. “hey my Roman is not a dickhead” I pouted and they laughed at me.

I parked the car. “be good in school” I smiled as Lila kissed my cheek and got out. Aiden looked at me. “I.. ma.. bye” he followed Lila and I frowned feeling a little worried about him.

I decided to spend my break with Roman today. Unlike the other day he was alone in the office looking at a few papers.

He looked at me. “Elijah.. I’m busy please wait for a little” he said and I sat down. Half an hour have passed and I started eating my food alone. He was talking with someone on the phone now.

I looked at the time and my break will end in 10 minutes so I had to leave. I glanced at Roman and he was typing something. “I have to go back” I said and he nodded not looking at me. “I will be late today” he said.

“I’m sorry I overreacted” I bit my lips and left the gym. So much of spending time with him.

When I walked in the house Julia was talking with Lila and Aiden. “hey.. Aiden your dad said he will be late today”.

Julia smiled at me. “I will have to go earlier today” she said and left us alone. “well how was school?” I asked both of them.

We talked for a little then they left to do their work for school as I cooked dinner for us. I wasn’t sure when Roman will be back home.

When they finished eating we went to the living room and they sat me on the couch and stood in front of me.

I looked at them confused. “we have a plan to do” Lila explained. Are they serious about doing a plan? I leaned back and nodded. “okay what first?” I asked them and they both smirked.

“we tried to think of a new plans..” Lila said. “first thing start today” Aiden coughed and I frowned.

“Aiden you okay?” I asked worried and he nodded “anyway dad will be late so you can eat with him.. a romantic late dinner” he smiled.

I blushed. “okay.. Aiden I need a few candles and Lila help me sit the table and order some flowers please.” They nodded and rushed to the kitchen.

The table was done as I put the flower in a vase. All left to do was to light up the candles and to heat the food.

Aiden and Lila went to sleep and I was sitting on the couch waiting for Roman. I only had a lingerie under a silk robe.

Roman walked in and looked at me his face didn’t show any emotion. I smiled at him as he took off his shoes.

“hey daddy” I walked to him and wrapped my hands around his neck giving him a kiss. He nodded and I walked to the kitchen lighting up the candles.

He looked at the table. “if you are hungry I thought we can have dinner alone” I said softly and he nodded sitting down.

I heated the food and I sat in front of him. he ate a little and I frowned. “how is things at work?” I asked him to try and make a conversation.

“better now.. the new place still need works” he replied and I nodded. “any suspects in your case?” he asked and I sighed. “the detective think it was one of her friends”.

“what do you think?” he asked leaning forward. “her best friend’s dad” I shrugged and his eyes went wide making me giggle. “the detective gave me the same reaction” I said.

He hummed and looked at his plate. “do you not like it?” I asked and he looked at me. “it’s good I’m just not that hungry” he replied and got up.

“thanks for the food” he said and I stood up grabbing his hand. “do you need anything else?” I bit my lips as I rubbed his arm slowly.

“like?” he asked and I shrugged pressing myself against him. “a massage maybe?” I asked and he nodded.

He was laying on his stomach in his bed only wearing his underwear so I took off my robe. I grabbed an essential oil rubbing it in my hand to heat it up.

I straddled his thighs and massaged his back slowly. He have been focusing on work and always sitting on his desk from what I have seen.

I pressed harder when I reached his shoulder and he groaned. I hummed feeling his body relax a little under my hands.

His back muscles were hard under my hands. How many times does he work out? I pulled away as he turned on his back. His eyes were closed.

Again I straddled him as I massaged his chest and his abs. his body was amazing. It was one of the things I like about him. his gray eyes can make me lose all of my thoughts. His beard that feels rough against my hand and thighs.

I shouldn’t think about something that might turn me on. “I think that’s enough” he said and I smiled.

He opened his eyes and looked at me. his eyes looked at every inch of my body and I felt myself get hot from his intense gaze.

I leaned down and kissed him slowly. But he broke the kiss faster than my liking. “I’m tired” he said and I blushed getting up.

“turn off the lights when you leave” he hummed and turned to his side. I bit my lips feeling a little disappointed and embarrassed.

I tried to show him that I wanted to spend time with him. he could have said no so I guess him agreeing to something was a good small progress for me.
