'Life Is Unfair and She Doesn't Care'
"I just love sinners." I bit my lips.
I love the way they beg at the moment of retribution. The way they shed thousands of tears hoping to fill your heart. I just love to see them as their resolve breaks. It is at this stage they give in to my every whim.
Trying their best to grovel before me, but filth will always be filth. I live to watch their horrified faces when they are pushed off the edge. The expressions they make as they scream and writhe beneath me are so precious.
The way they all tend to lash out with futile attempts to save themselves; It makes the entire experience... blissful. And when it reaches that point...
...Honestly, I can't hold back!
"You understand right?"
Her screams incited my need to subdue her. Large dark brown eyes stared up at me. I smiled. This is how things should be. Your eyes should only be on me. No! They should only be for me!
"Please... Stop." She wailed. I shook my head.
"If I don't show you the pain of loving me, how can you truly relish the pleasure of doing so?"
My beautiful Bianca. I'm sorry, but these eyes of yours keep putting you in trouble. The blood within my veins boiled ferociously. Each breath I took turned into heavy pants, I reached out. Using my finger tips to caress her smooth pale skin. Mmn.
I bit my lower lip until it drew blood. A pale finger skimmed across the slick surface.
"Ace! Ahhhh!"
Bianca called my name, as she pulled violently against the chains that bound her to the wall. I firmly gripped her head holding it in place. A growl passed its way through my throat.
"Yes. I know. Scary, but don't worry it'll be over soon." I comforted her as I pressed a finger into a corner.
Blood and tears gushed forth mingling with her horrified screams. The orifice held onto my finger tightly leaving no extra room. She shook desperately trying to remove herself from my confines. The chains rattled and jerked from her movements.
"Shhh! Almost there." Squelch! Squish. Rip! Blood flowed like a river, as I removed the now deformed and reddened object. I leaned in tenderly holding her limp body.
"Bianca my love. One down. One more to go!" I laid a gentle kiss on her sunken, bleeding eyelid. She whimpered, squeezing shut her right eye. I tilted my head to the side.
Lowering my voice only for her to hear, I said, "Crying doesn't suit you Bianca love."
I pried open the other eyelid. Using my finger stained in red, I began to slowly carve out her love for me. Her screams became lost in the background. The second eyeball came out with less resistance than the first. I smiled. Practice makes perfect! I took in her ghastly pale face. God you're so beautiful. With my eyelids lowered and lips apart, I placed a deep kiss on her lips.
Different? I ran my tongue across her teeth before capturing her tongue. I pulled away suddenly.
"I've figured it out!" My eyes shot wide open, a jovial smile graced my lips. "You don't love me anymore!"
I gripped the sides of her face. Shaking her head side to side, she wept. I know now! Everything is falling into place. You didn't even try to defend yourself. I admire that. You know the error of your actions. Good. This is good. You can now leave in peace! At this conclusion the hardness in my eyes lifted and my features became more relaxed. Yes. This is what she must want. I am the only one who can free her!
A smile filtered itself through my thoughts and onto my lips.
"Bianca I love you. And I respect your decision, so I am willing to let you go."
The small body in front of me stopped moving. What a martyr! Even to the bitter end of your glass you offer yourself whole-heartedly without fuss! Worry suddenly crippled me. What if my work isn't up to her standards? No! Bianca deserves the best! I peeled myself away from her body.
Taking meaningful strides, I exited the blue room.
"Carlos where is my phone!" A middle aged man soon appeared in the hallway before me.
"Here you are Mr. Ackerman." He handed me the device.
"I don't need anything else."
I waited on his footsteps to fade before placing the call.
"Hey Axel. Do you still have the number for the Botanist?" I laughed. "Uhm. Ah. Hmm." With those words, I ended the call. It's so amazing to have a brother you can rely on. I followed the outline of the door in my mind. I knocked twice in rapid succession to gain the attention of the one who was held inside.
"Bianca love, I need to step out." My arms began to itch. The discomfort spread to my neck. "Answer me! Say something!"
Filled with concern I opened the door. Leaning heavily against the chains her body looked debilitated. The tightening sound of metal squeezing skin greeted my ears.
"Bianca?" I walked up to her. Her head hung limply causing long straight black strands of hair to cover her face.
"Bianca." I lifted her chin. My eyebrows creased in concentration. I passed my hand under her nose. The lines on my forehead deepened.
Placing my index and middle finger on the inside of her wrist. Right on that sweet spot at the base of the thumb. I waited. Five seconds. Ten seconds. Fifteen seconds. Fuck! No Pulse. You really couldn't wait on me could you? I opened my phone redialling the last number. I walked to the table on the right and sat on its clean metal edge.
"Yeah. Something's come up. I need directions to the chop shop." With one response I felt at ease. "Ok we're on our way." I said to Axel. He ended the call before I could.
"Well Bianca we're going for a ride."
The melodious voice of Michael Bublé exited the speakers at the flick of a switch. Two sets of chains were removed swiftly with familiar movements. The cooling body landed softly in my arms and was laid on the floor.
A long, transparent bag was opened. The body along with its missing parts was placed inside. Zirp! With a grunt, the body was placed over my shoulder. Steady steps led me out of the darkened room, pushing me closer to my destination.
"We're just picking up someone ok." I called out to Bianca.
The car rolled to a stop. Axel stood in front of his condo, arms crossed on his chest. The look of displeasure on his face was more obvious than a sign that said 'I'm Angry'. He entered the front seat.
"Hey!" I greeted him. He shot a glare in my direction that made my smile deepen.
"This is the eighth one you've broken in one year. What the hell is wrong with you. No one else has such a high turnover rate!" said Axel. I shrugged and pulled off.
"Directions, thanks." Silence filled the space between us. Axel's face reddened as time passed.
"Fuck you!" He finally burst out.
"Directions. Now!" I demanded as I pulled onto the highway.
"At the second exit take a left." said Axel. Good. You still have enough sense to know when my patience has run thin.
Don't worry Bianca Mr. and Mrs. Raith will do a service like no one else can. I'll ensure it.
Within the span of two hours, we pulled into the back of a mechanic shop in the rural parts of Shire County, West Sussex.
"We're here." I announced.
Axel rolled his eyes, "If your title wasn't Boss, I would've long removed myself from this picture."
Whatever happened to brotherly assistance? You are going to get it later, you piece of shit! I flashed him a blinding smile, while being careful not to betray my thoughts. We both stepped out and walked into the reception area. I couldn't help but notice how bare the place was. A simple room that held a plant in a corner, a high desk and four chairs lined off against an equally bare wall.
"Hey Gorgie, Are the Raith's here?" The young man looked up. His eyes, a dull grey held a surprising amount of vigour in them. Finally registering who was speaking, his entire demeanour changed.
"Young Boss. Welcome! Unfortunately, I have to be the bearer of bad news. They left on a trip. They will be back by..." He turned to flip through the book before him. "Yes. They will be back on the fourteenth." He looked up at me smiling sweetly. I ignored his gaze.
"Four days isn't that long of a wait Ace," said Axel. I shook my head in agreement. Please forgive me Bianca! Things have taken a turn at the last moment. Axel continued, saying, "We'd like to keep the body on ice till then."
"Of course! Let me ring the mechanics. Oh, any special requests for the Raith's?" said Gorgie, dutifully. I thought for a while.
"Cleaned, Quartered and... the torso area should be split down the middle. Give me a call when she's ready for pick up." I flashed him a beautiful smile.
"Noted. Enjoy your day sir's!"
We walked out as he picked up the phone to place the call. Shortly after two burly men walked up to the car. I popped the trunk.
"What are you going to do now?" said Axel. We watched the two men carefully remove the body from the trunk.
"At this moment I'm hungry. Want to get something to eat?" I looked over to him, he seemed deep in thought.
"Well you dragged me from my lunch table so I have no choice, but to agree!" said Axel.
Through my laughter, I said, "You could have said no and gone home to eat your wife's food."
He scoffed. His voice barely above a whisper drifted to my ears. "I've had enough of her food. Time for a different flavour in my mouth." I shrugged
"That might come back to bite you later!" I warned him. It was his turn to laugh.
"Maybe, but right now I'm a free man. They're finished, let's go." We got in and started the journey back in silence.
After half an hour buzzing filled the air. Axel took one look and placed the phone back down.
"Is it Hemming?" I asked him.
"Worse. It is my wife dearest." A frown creased my forehead upon hearing his words.
"Answer it! Oh and that wasn't a request!" A grumble came from Axel's throat.
"Hon!" He said as enthusiastically as he could. The words of their conversation were filtered into the background. My mind went back to Bianca. Why can't I have someone loyal? Everyone has their own separate agenda and no one truly holds me with high regard. They all live in fear of the fist. No one ever truly has feelings for me. Sigh. Why can't I find someone who sees me and me alone.
...Do I not deserve love?
I held the steering wheel so tightly, that my knuckles turned white.
"Ok yeah. No yeah, yeah. Sure. No. Yes ok. Ok ok we'll be there." He ended the call.
"Ok so change of plans. We're going to have a meeting with Tina and Feerrel." I nodded.
"Good for you. You should socialize." I stated in agreement.
"No! We are having a meeting with Tina and Feerel. The 'we' as in you and I, not Michelle and I." He corrected.
"I'm not going." I rejected him instantaneously.
"No choice, because you owe me one for today." Fuck! The good light I once held him in slowly disappeared.
"Alright then brother since you've put it that way to your place it is!" I smiled as I stole a glance in his direction. Ah. The joys of having relations.
We parked in the underground lot of the condo.
"Axel, when are you going to buy a house?"
Though the condo was luxurious in appearance, it still lacked that homey touch. Children shouldn't be raised in such an environment! Axel laughed heartily as he swiped his card on the elevator's sensor. The doors opened and we entered.
"Ace, when are you going to get married?" It was my turn to release a few light hearted notes.
"When humans become more than just filth." He stayed silent in response to my answer.
"Has it ever crossed your mind that, maybe your standards are insanely... high?" He said barely above a whisper.
"No. I just haven't found that person as yet."
"I'm just concerned for the organisation's future. It needs an heir. You are one step away from thirty..." I glared at him.
"Don't you have children? If both of us are dead one of them can take up the reins," I said in a matter of fact tone. Axel's expression chilled.
"Michelle doesn't want this life... our life for them..." He paused, "And I don't want it for them either." The doors of the elevator opened. He stepped out in silence. Upon reaching the front door I blocked the path and placed a hand over the security scanner before he could swipe the card.
Facing him dead on I said, "If father heard those words he'd have knocked you bloody. No one born under the insignia of the Ackerman family can escape their fate. You and I both know this. If that day had gone smoothly and you weren't kidnapped. You would be the boss, not me. Your children despite her words would be next in line. Either way fate twists herself to accommodate us and ensure things fall into their correct place even after all this time. So guess what. There isn't anything you can do about it."
I uncovered the scanner to the door and tempered my face upon hearing light giggling on the other side of the door. Before he could swipe the card the door flung open.
Loud screams greeted us.
