Beatrice closed her teary eyes as she felt a gust of wind blow her hair in the open air. She could hear nothing but strong and violent wind. It was starting to rain. The clouds went black.
Oh hell no.
It was going to rain super violently! Beatrice could feel the darkness spread among her and Leo. She could not spot Leo but he could spot her. If they didn't hurry or make a quick move like playing a game of chess, they would get trapped in the thunderstorm forever and the darkness would finally consume them!
"Beatrice, hold on!" she heard Leo's voice calling for her above her. He was coming to not just save her but protecting both him and her! Leo then used his blue lightning wings (well because he is a lightning angel, of course) and flapped high whilst carrying Beatrice in the air.
When Beatrice woke up again, she felt a beam of sunlight in her face. It burned! Youch! It felt like a raging fire consuming her own face. If that happened in real life, she would get severe burns on her face. Well, more like getting scars.
"Beatrice, are you okay?" Leo's voice rose up to her. Beatrice breathed heavily. Why was she still with him? In fact, how was she not struck by lightning during her flight?!! I mean she was saved by a lightning angel but that doesn't mean she could not get struck by lightning - right?!!
"Leo, I'm fine," she whispered to Leo in a soft voice. The voice that made her feel like dying. Beatrice was so confronted that she didn't even realise where they were going! They were returning to the one and only dangerous place. And yep, you guessed it.
The one and only - Thorn Arena.
Beatrice and Leo flew up to the clouds and found out that the castle was still standing, except it turned black and covered in thorns. Even the entrance was blocked with thorns!
Luckily, Leo took out his sword from his back and cut all the thorns so that they could return to the castle of the Thorn Arena. They then entered through the golden gates and the castle door opened on it's own.
"Okay, time to see his majesty," Leo spoke in a soft voice as he and Beatrice walked inside the front entrance.
Shit. There's more to that though than meets the eye...
