The pair rushed into the castle hall and spotted the courtroom! The room's walls were all covered with green thorns! Uh oh! The castle was cursed during Beatrice and Leo's break! OOF.

And where was the king? If he wasn't there, Beatrice and Leo will have to find a new king for the throne and their quest will be marked cancelled! Where was he?

A minute later...

The pair didn't find the king but they did find a note left on the throne chair by the king himself. Beatrice opened it and read what was in it.

Dear Beatrice and Leo,

I'm sorry for escaping without you noticing. I am hiding from the half-demon assassins. They have turned this castle completely black and they even stole my crown! Beatrice, I need you and Leo to collect my invitations to get out there and defeat him before more innocent people get killed! You will continue to live out your normal lives for two years until they strike again. Then you will have to reveal your identities to them and find out where they are hiding! You will also need to revive your friends since they mean so much to you. The hype is real! Do you both have what it takes to accept this mission and brave the evil for good?

Below the note was a blank space that said:

I, ______ and ______ will accept the quest by the king himself to defeat the evil half-demon assassins once and for all of the Thorn Arena community.

Beatrice then found a black pen next to the envelope. She picked it up with her right hand and filled in the blank spaces.

I, Beatrice and lightning angel Leo will accept the quest by the king himself to defeat the evil half-demon assassins once and for all of the Thorn Arena community.

As soon as she filled in the invitation, she showed it to Leo. Once Leo saw the invitation message, he was shocked. "Beatrice, what have you done?!!" he shouted in agony.
